Amazing cottage. Very clean and views from the back yard are excellent! Carrie is very helpful with the check in process. Third time staying at the cottage and looking forward to coming back.

What a great place! Everything was excellent from the cottage, to the pool/jacuzzi and outdoor area including the bbq and outdoor shower. This place is excellent couples looking for a quiet relaxing place or a family with 1-2 kids. Carrie was a wonderful host with great communication. The place is also close to the Wailea shopping area and restaurants. We absolutely loved our stay at Autie Kali’s Cottage and look forward to another stay in the future.

House was in a perfect location in South Maui for all the activities we had planned. Great pool and hot tub with amazing outdoor space overall including outdoor shower. House was exactly as described meeting all of our expectations.

Wonderful stay, little slice of heaven with all the amenities

We loved our stay, the cottage is wonderful with a great outdoor space with pool, hot tub, bar, grill & fire pit! They thought of everything & Carrie is a great Host. Great place to stay in Maui!

Great Location Great Property

Everything about the cottage is perfect, you won't even want to leave. The backyard is your private oasis and is perfect for kids. Everything was clean, well cared for, and a great host.

Fantastic Place to experience Maui

Our family of 4 stayed for a week and a half and I can’t say enough good things about our time there. The property is so much better than the photos can convey, it really is a little piece of paradise. We enjoyed the privacy of having the pool and outdoor kitchen/bar, the view of the ocean and Molokini, and the house itself had everything we needed and more. Truly a special place! Highly recommend staying here!!

We have stayed at this location 7 times, and would visit every year if it were possible. There is no other place like it on Maui, and it's really hard to describe how relaxing and easy it is to be at this location. Highlights include the hot tub, the deer that walk by in the evenings, sunsets, and just peace and quiet. Our hosts are the best that we've ever had and will likely continue to be a part of our lives in the future. 11/10.

Our family went to Maui to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary, my 50th birthday, and our oldest daughter’s high school graduation! I’ve been to Maui before and stayed at the Grand Wailea but this time we booked Aunt Kali’s Cottage. Hands down Aunt Kali’s Cottage wins! My husband and I along with our two teenage daughters were lucky enough to be Carrie’s guests, although she treats you like family! Carrie offers a warm welcome, with her sweet dog Olivia by her side. The minute you walk into your private backyard oasis you feel like you are home in a tropical paradise. We loved the views of Molokini Crater and jumping into the jacuzzi after a day of adventure on the island. The outdoor shower has the best water pressure with expansive views of nature and the property. We enjoyed several meals on the patio. If the Cottage is available grab it, you won’t be sorry. Carrie thinks of everything! She has beach bags, beach chairs, and the kitchen is fully equipped. The beach towels in the large pineapple basket by the front door was our favorite touch. It was so hard to say goodbye. We will definitely be back.

Fabulous option for families or couples

Auntie Kali's was like having your own private resort all to yourself. Highly recommend it. This is the best VRBO choice I've ever made.

Perfect getaway

Carrie is a great host! Auntie Kali's Cottage is a wonderful private area. Great place to grill and relax. This was our second time to stay and we look forward to returning again.

The most beautiful vacation rental property we've ever stayed at, anywhere on the islands or mainland. Carrie and her design team have put together a pool, spa, pool bar and outdoor lounging/eating area that beats 5 star hotels, all for her guests. And you can't beat the privacy. Carrie is on top of everything, super communicative, super responsive. Location is great too, just a few minutes above the heart of Wailea. If you're reading this review, stop now and book this before it's too late.

Our favorite place to stay in Maui

This is our second trip back to Maui and our second time staying here. We absolutely love this place and can't say enough good things about the property. The accommodations are comfortable, and the views are outstanding. We find this to be the perfect location with easy access to all areas of the Island with a short drive. We will definitely be back!
