About this property

Simply delightful Guest Suite in Lancaster County Country

This newly renovated one bedroom suite is located in the beautiful Lancaster County countryside. This apartment is attached to our house but has a private entrance. We are located between the villages of Intercourse and Bird-in-Hand and within fifteen minutes of most Lancaster Country attractions. Our property is surrounded by Amish farmland and is a quiet retreat for 1-4 people.

Enjoy the beautiful backyard in summer on the back deck or yard surrounded by trees. Open fire ring, wood, and gas grill provided.

Our apartment includes a bedroom with one queen bed, full bathroom, living room with a sofa bed, sun porch, and furnished kitchen. All linens are provided.

Fabulous place!

The cottage was beautiful and so peaceful. We enjoyed a relaxing long weekend and would definitely recommend. Surrounded by farmland yet close enough to a wide variety of activities.

Great Getaway!

This little place is cozy, comfortable, and central to just about anything you would want to do in Amish Country. The hosts are very friendly and informative about the area. We absolutely loved our stay here and hope to stay again in the future.

This was our 5th shopping trip to Lancaster. My friend and I loved this accommodation. It was all one level (great for bad knees and such,) clean, spacious, quit and comfortable. Omar and Mary were delightful.

Mary and Oscar are wonderful hosts who provide a very clean and comfortable vacation rental. They are friendly and welcoming while also providing privacy. It’s nice to be so close to many area attractions and then to come “home” to a peaceful country setting. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at “Simply Wonderful” and are looking forward to a return visit!

Sight and Sound Theatre, Kitchen Kettle Village, Green Dragon Farmers’ Market, Shady Maple Smorgasbord, Bird-in-Hand, Strasburg Railroad, Farmersville Auction, Tanger Outlets, Landisville Museum and Peaceful Valley Furniture are some of the places we’ve visited during our time in the area, and Simply Wonderful Vacation Home is centrally and conveniently located between them. We’ve stayed multiple times at Mary and Oscar’s lovely vacation home and it’s always a pleasure to be there. We hope to return next year!

Such a cozy and quiet stay. The accomodations were amazing. Beautifully maintained property. Our hosts were so pleasant, and we enjoyed our conversations. Highly....did I say highly?...recommend this location if you're in the Lancaster area.
