4 large bedrooms plus the bonus/game room. The master bedroom features a unique log-style queen-size bed, and a flat-screen TV w/ cable & a DVD player. The master bedroom also includes a private bath with a large jacuzzi tub & dual sinks. The remaining three bedrooms are located on the upper level of the home. The 2nd bedroom has a king-size bed, and the 3rd bedroom has a queen-size bed. Both bedrooms feature flat-panel TVs with cable. The 4th bedroom, "the children's bedroom," features 2 double/single bunk beds & features a flat-screen TV w/cable. Also upstairs is the bonus/game room, which offers a comfortable queen-sized futon sleeper along with a flat-screen TV with Roku

Enjoy the use of an air hockey table & foosball table. This home also offers a custom-made pool table that is perfectly located in a room off the living room. For outdoor entertainment, you can either pass the time by playing basketball or relaxing in the large hot tub. (Please note: this home's indoor sauna is not available for use.) The spacious deck includes 2 patio tables & a stainless steel propane BBQ. You will appreciate the privacy of the oversized outdoor hot tub - perfect for star gazing!

The host was great, and communicated with us in a timely manner, overall we had a wonderful time and stay. We actually extended our stay and extra day. The house was roomy and close to everything. The only little problem we had with the location was the amount of dust. Maybe cleaning crew can do a better job cleaning ceiling fans, and other higher areas of spider webs. Overall we do look forward to booking again.

Pet friendly and it shows

My impression of the property, that yes it was pet friendly, and it showed by all the stains on the carpet I would not walk on that carpet with bare feet. I had to clean the patio chairs and tables, all the spiderwebs. The bathrooms were clean and the kitchen was clean, but I personally would never stay there again and wouldn’t call it a 5 star lodge.

Big Bear has many pine trees and they produce pollen. We do our best to ensure that our outside area is pollen free. Thanks for the reminder for future guests!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: For the price it costs for a peak season rental, I would expect the property to be thoroughly cleaned. From dirty dishes, cobwebs everywhere in the master bed & bathroom,bounce dryer sheet on the floor next to the master bed, screw on the floor in the room with bunkbeds,the air hockey table doesn't work, half the darts for the dart board are broken. The home is beautiful. Maybe had it been less expensive, I would not have even written a review. With a high cost comes an expectation level,unfortunately it was not met.

PLEASE ALSO know that when guests reserve a home through a 3rd party platform like Airbnb, VRBO and , there is up to a 25% service fee that that 3rd party platform charges you, increasing the price even more and also increasing your expectations as you mentioned. We do our best to provide fair market prices for our homes. This very large, 15 person home is in great demand for the holidays and prices are indeed higher than non peak dates and even higher when guests do not book directly on our website. We will be sending you an email to follow up with your concerns and to regain your faith in our service as an exceptional vacation rental management company in Big Bear Lake.

Big Bear trip with the family

Overall I am not unhappy with our stay, just disappointed with a few things. When confirming the cabin they let us know that there wasn’t a booking on those dates under my name. When I signed for the stay. There was another family member that signed as well but how do you not check this before telling someone that their trip is not booked. The internet was off for a portion of the trip, the shower door fell while someone was in the shower, guests are expected to fill the propane if you want to grill, take the trash to a dump on your own, some of the beds are unusually tall, the sauna was broken, the water is incredibly hot which isn’t safe. The kitchen seems to be comprised of items that were left behind by previous guests. For the amount of money that was paid you would think that it might be a little more presentable and some things would be handled different to make the stay more enjoyable. When communicating with the host some questions or comments went unanswered. Again, this was an expensive stay so communication would be nice.The day after we got back I had a friend call me to ask about the place and I didn’t recommend it, I don’t want to disappoint him and his family.
