-Please note that even though the listing shows 6 beds, THERE ARE ONLY 5 ACTUAL BEDS. The last "bed" is a high-quality air mattress.

-We are big time dog/cat lovers. If you would like to bring your pet, please ask us about our pet fee. Please remember that pets are NOT allowed on top of beds or sofas due to the difficulty of removing pet hair from sofas and bed linens. Also, if you bring your pet, you must clean after them (including out in the yard).

-Due to extreme hot weather in Texas this summer, please be aware that the AC unit might have a difficult time cooling down to very low temperatures. That does not mean the AC unit is not working, it just means that the outside temperature is so extreme that the AC system cannot cope with it. Unfortunately, most of Texas houses have AC units that were not designed to withstand these record-breaking temperatures. We have given recurring maintenance to the AC unit and made sure the AC unit is always ON even before our guests arrive. By booking this property, you acknowledge and accept that the AC unit may not cool all the way to that low temperature you desire. We appreciate your patience with this matter. If you still believe the AC unit is not working properly, please let us know and we'll be happy to assist.

I booked this house for a long term stay with three people total. We moved in and quickly discovered a major water leak in the master bedroom closet. We stayed in the house while the host renovated the room, hoping the work would be completed quickly. Unfortunately, renovations lasted for the majority of the 11 week booking. The renovations were never fully completed as the closet didn’t have a door frame, baseboards, or an outlet cover at the time the host said the work was complete. Additionally, we had issues with the power going out due to water damage in the breaker box. The host was responsive to issues at first, but one issue would get resolved and a new one would pop up shortly after. For example, the electronic lock on the front door broke, the water heater went out, the dryer went out, the microwave grew mold, and one of the garage doors stopped working. Most of the problems got addressed in some form, but there was very little time when we weren’t dealing with some sort of issue.
