Summit Solitude was the perfect place for a nice escape with great privacy, wonderful amenities and everything you need for a nice relaxing time. We really enjoyed playing pool, shuffleboard and corn hole in the Carriage House, using the hot tub and the fire pit and hiking on the trails. I would highly recommend this house for a nice family or friends getaway.

I hosted a group at this home for my sister’s bachelorette party (we’re a pretty tame group). We stayed for a long weekend at the beginning of August. Communication prior to our stay was responsive and helpful. I was able to work out checking-in a little earlier which was so helpful for me to “set up” and be there as guests arrived. The home was very clean and well put together, nice furnishings. I think the property is even better in person, even though the pictures are accurate. There are a lot of windows which allow for amazing views, but can make the house pretty hot in the afternoon since several don’t have shades. That was probably our only “complaint”. They provide small fans but we probably could’ve used more, especially for the main bedroom. For us, it wasn’t enough to outweigh the good. Take note, the house has a lot of stairs. The main space is great for a group to gather. The kitchen is well appointed. There’s a wine fridge in the pantry - great for keeping champagne cold. The outdoor decks are wonderful. I recommend sitting out there at night and looking at the stars - incredible. The hot tub and game garage were nice bonuses. We unfortunately couldn’t enjoy the fire pit because of a fire ban going on. The property grounds are beautiful, fun to explore. You feel secluded but it’s an 8-10 min drive to Breckenridge. We ventured back and forth several times. Our group thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I would recommend this property, and book it again myself!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We went for our 36th wedding anniversary but became ill throughout it. The house in the woods was peaceful solitude and a place to reflect on so much. While my husband rested one day, I sat on one of the patios, which are totally private so I was able to be in my nightgown. In the city, there's too much noise and we're too busy to enjoy any quiet time, so I silently thanked the ancestors, Universe and God, for the opportunity to relax. The 9 acres were absolutely beautiful and private. Just what we needed. Since we couldn't go driving around to find moose, elk, deer and bears, one appeared in the sage on the private road next to us. It's what we drove to Colorado to see. The house had everything we needed to cook and we used our Netflix and Prime Video to watch movies. Next time, we won't be I'll, so the many stairs won't be a problem. Great exercise! Our dog, Flounder, got exercise, as well, and I enjoyed walking him along the driveway. We loved watching the chipmunks/ground squirrels and swifts/other birds.The beds were comfy and linen, so fresh and clean. We came from hot Texas and needed fans. Thankfully, there was a fan in the master bedroom closet. HaThis would be a great house and property for families with teenagers. Plenty of fun things to do on the 9 acres.
