Come stay at Keg Creek Cottage! A 2600 sf lake front cottage on Clark's Hill Lake with BREATHTAKING views. Boat dock just for the property (will be shared between 2 STR homes) , in a deep water cove, also great for swimming, especially with a beach. The home is pet friendly home, with fenced in yard. Home has an awesome outdoor entertaining area with a fire pit and grill.

Home features a a full kitchen with everything you will need to cook your meals. The home has 3 bedrooms with a queen, and 3 full baths, all completely stocked with linens and bedding for your use. Also has a queen murphy bed. Has two entertaining areas, with a large screened in patio. Covered parking available.

Home features water toys that come with the cottage including 2 kayaks, a paddle board, corn hole and frisbee golf. Great for a family get away!

*Note the property has 2 homes on it, which will both be used for short term rentals.

Family wedding

This home was very nice and clean. Had everything we needed. We were in town for our daughter’s wedding. Plenty of room for the adults and young adults to have separate spaces. Dock was very nice for sunbathing. We would highly recommend.

Awesome family vacation with the best host!

Our stay was absolutely amazing! Alicia went above and beyond to make our time at her property special. The house was extremely welcoming and had everything we needed. Great place for a reunion!

We held our annual Lake reunion at ALICIA‘s property and I can’t say enough good things about it! It was clean and spacious. We had everything we needed. The water was beautiful and we really enjoyed the dock.

Awesome place

This cottage was perfect for our stay. We played golf and went to the Masters. Very clean, very spacious cottage with an awesome view of the lake. I would definitely stay here again.

Fishing tournament stay

We stayed at the Keg Creek Cottage during our fishing tournament this past weekend. The house was absolutely incredible and we enjoyed every minute of our stay! I would recommend this place to anybody that wants to stay at Clarks Hill!

Very nice!

Spacious, well appointed home. Comfortable beds and lots of open living space. Plenty of parking. The owners were friendly and easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay here again.

Awesome Lake Cottage

Everything about this cottage was perfect. From location on the lake, cleanliness, decor, deep water dock, hosts….everything! We actually booked for next year the day we checked in. I wouldn’t change one single thing.

Second time around

Second time staying at property. House is clean, well stocked, perfect location close to boat ramp, and easy access for folks traveling with boats. We travel to the area often for fishing tournaments. This is our go to place.. Owner is very helpful and easy to contact.

Gorgeous!!

This place was amazing. This was our second stay at this beautiful place. We were there for our grandson's fishing tournament. The location is great for getting to the launch. Being able to fish off the shore was fantastic. The owners were always available and very accommodating! We will definitely return!!

Beautiful property

Great!

This is a clean and well-maintained property that your family and/or friends will enjoy. Everything that you need to enjoy a week at the lake is here. The interior is well maintained and modern. You can relax at the dock, fish, rent a jet ski or boat nearby or use the fire pit, outdoor games, grills and Kayaks. The owners live next door, which is a great benefit. They are friendly and helpful if you want recommendations or need something. However, they are not intrusive and will not interfere with your visit. Pick this house, and you will have a great vacation!

A Complete Family Retreat

Our family travels together several times a year, often with grandkids and grandparents, and we always prefer VRBO homes to hotels. This house at Keg Creek is jumping up to the top of list, and every member of the family agrees. You can tell the owners are thoughtful hosts, with helpful signage and no guesswork; even an “in case you forget” supply basket. It was well kept, well furnished, plenty of space, and indoor/outdoor areas that were perfect for kids and adults in their own spaces. We brought along our pontoon boat, and docking it under the covered dock was so easy and convenient. We could have stayed a whole week, and even discussed a family summer trip back to this house. Thank you so much to this family for sharing their retreat with us!

Great place to relax!

We loved this property! With the two story set up it was perfect for each family to feel like they had their own space without being on top of each other. The upstairs (main floor) was perfect for the meal times and playing games at the large family table. The downstairs was perfect for the kids to play (with the included kids tows and tricycle) this was a wonderful added touch that we used on the rainy day during our stay. Also the bait and tackle store down the street hooked us up for the weekend with all the kid fishing stuff we needed for a really good price! Publix grocery store and some restaurants are a quick and easy drive down the road so you can keep your supply of stuff easily without making a day trip. We will be coming back to more trips in the future!!

Beautiful

First off, the house was immaculate. The online pictures does not compare. Waking up to a beautiful lake scene backdrop was a plus. The hosts were very gracious and friendly. Anytime, I had a question, she would reply immediately. We were there to attend a wedding so we did not enjoy everything the house had to offer. Fishing, coffee on the patio, kayaking, smores over the firepit just to name a few. We are planning a return trip. So excited to return. Thank you, Thank you and Thank you

Great House and stay during masters

This was a great lake house that we stayed at during the Masters Golf Tournament. The 10-15min drive back into town was not bad at all and we found pretty much everything we needed at a Publix or several restaurants in town. While it was a bit of a drive to the tournament we appreciated the quietness of the property and it allowing us to escape all the hustle of town. The inside was tastefully decorated and well kept. Everything was clean and worked as it should. We especially found the labels on all light switches very helpful to quickly figure out what does what. Overall great stay. However I am giving 4 stars due to a billing issue that went unresolved for a bit. VRBO was utterly unhelpful and frustrating as I reached out to them numerous times. Eventually VRBO contacted the host who fixed the issue.

Smith Family Fun Time at the Lake

Wonderful Family Vacation

The Keg Creek Cottage is very clean, comfortable, spacious and tastefully decorated. It exceeded my overall expectations! We brought our pontoon and our dog, so the dock and fenced in yard were perfect for us! The amenities and personal touches throughout the property definitely made us feel welcome! The location was quiet, and the boat ramp right down the road was very convenient. The owner was very responsive and frequently checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed and we were enjoying our stay 😊 I would highly recommend this beautiful property ❤️
