Bring your whole family to this peaceful retreat, located only ten minutes from Mohican State Park, and tucked into a secluded area surrounded by nature. Whether you are looking for a landing spot while traveling or looking for a longer stay with family and friends, this place will capture your heart in a moment’s time, and you have a full tennis court to yourself.
This Retreat is nestled into a secluded spot in the heart of nature. 6 miles from Mohican and located on a county roadabout 1 mile off of state route 3. This place was recently renovated and is set up for a dream getaway. You will quickly fall in love with this retreat and all that it has to offer.
7 beds and a pullout couch
2 king, 1 queen, 4 full, and 1 pullout couch.
Propane grille is available.
Tv's are setup with Roku, so you can sign into your own accounts.
There is a washer and dryer available within the space for you to use during your stay.
Coffee maker is a standard drip coffee maker, bring your own coffee.
There is an outdoor fire pit next to the tennis court where you can build a fire, bring your own firewood and camping chairs if you want to sit around the campfire.
A full tennis court on the premises and tennis rackets and a few balls are provided, Pickle ball is also provided.
You will have the entire property to yourself, including the tennis court.
This retreat is located on a county roadabout 1 mile from state route 3. A very secluded property out in the country with a beautiful view of some farm fields.
There is a $15 a night per person fee when exceeding 16 guests, we can provide a few air mattresses for people to sleep on the floor if needed.
There is a washer and dryer available within the space.
Coffee maker is a standard drip coffee maker, bring your own coffee.
There is an outdoor fire pit next to the tennis court that you can build a fire, bring your own firewood and camping chairs if you plan on sitting around the campfire.

The house was very clean! The view was beautiful! The front deck needs a little love as well as the tennis court but those issues did not distract from our stay at all. The kitchen was well stocked, plenty of things for the kids to do, and the peace and quiet were perfect for a nice get-a-way!

Family Mohican Trip

This stay was great! We had both sets of in-laws plus our kids and our best friends, and the house was plenty of space! We were able to cook all week, and there were plenty of utensils in the drawers for things we forgot! Close to all of the main attractions, nicely secluded, and very well maintained property. Tennis court was a hit!

Perfect Getaway for a Family of Friends

The "Retreat" was the perfect location for a group of old friends celebrating several birthdays and enjoying the remoteness of a beautiful property. For those looking for a remote location, beautiful farmland views, on property tennis/pickleball, gas and wood fire pits and local activities of hiking, birding, local breweries, old school hardware retail (Lehman's) and more, this is that spot!

Family Get Away

We had a lovely time on property. It had everything we could have wanted and more. We have 5 nearly all adult children who greatly appreciated their own space while we were together. The kitchen and dining area is open, the living room was cozy. Having two full baths was fantastic. We had a blast with the pickleball court and the fire pit. Our favorite spot to sit, chat, and read our books was on the patio under the wood arch. The furniture was comfortable, the breeze was delightful. We were the perfect distance from having "things to do" and far enough away we felt like we were in a world of our own. Sam the owner was extremely accommodating and responsive when I had questions. We will certainly be back!
