Joseph was an excellent host, and this was the perfect place to relax after a long day. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet, and the garage apartment was charming and cozy. The sheets were unbelievably comfortable—the best I’ve ever slept on! I would definitely stay here again. Thank you, Joseph!

Just what I needed for my stay. Great communication, thank you again!
Clean, quiet, more amenities than a hotel room. Better shower. And not once did i have people walking past my room screaming at the top of their lungs waking me up. If i have to cone back this way for work, im definitely booking this room ahead of me. Thank you to the host , i do appreciate the stay.

I've stayed here twice in the past month. It is the perfect place for me! The ONLY negative thing is that no matter how many plug ins, fans or sprays used, there's a horrible sewage smell that cant even be covered up.
nice neighbor hood close to shoping/eating district
Nice, cozy and clean. Per day rate was fantastic. With a few small changes it could be even better. Such as a Kuerig coffee maker (nothing fancy needed) a chair to sit in vs just a bed. washer had a broken water line and since i was in town for a week it would have been helpful for that to function properly, drier had a broken door as well. i would stay there again as the area was fantastic. a few small improvements would justify a slightly higher rate per day.

My tulsa visit
Front of garage could have been cleaner. Backyard ahould have been mowed for mosquito control
71 YO F here. This is a clean no-frills spot and is priced accordingly. If you're looking for a simple place to spend the night, with thrift a priority over decor, this is the place for you. Good for one person (or two who like each other!).
The driveway needs a good clean-up, but the room itself was clean. I was there on a cold night and could have used a little heads-up regarding the space heater, but once I found it, I was cozy. Taping up the pet door for winter would help with the heat. Small coffee-maker would be a plus, even if the guests had to bring their own coffee. I would have no hesitation about staying here again on a trip where luxury was not the goal.
The location is the best, and only, great thing about the property. The garage unit is located in a weed-choked backyard with various things scattered here and there. Everything about the property (the main house, too) looks abandoned. The unit itself is old, dusty, and not well laid out. The electrical outlets, what few there are, look original to the house and date to perhaps the 1940s. It's small and sufficient for a single person but no more, probably not even a married couple could survive too many nights in these cramped quarters. The bed was OK, the bathroom was adequate, and the AC was cold if perhaps a bit loud. The location, though, in the Brooksie neighborhood, was outstanding. Quiet, tree-lined streets just a 5-10 minute walk from shops and restaurants. The Gathering Place, too, is walkable but a bit further. On-street parking was no problem. Check-in was at 6 PM, a tad later than I would have liked, considering my flight arrived in Tulsa at 11 AM and I thus had 7 hours to kill.
