Girls getaway

Beautiful, well renovated old house w a view of the lake and lots of space to relax and play cards. Amazing area close to great restaurants, shopping and fun things to do. Great weekend stay!

Wonderful place to stay

We were trying to find a large enough place for multiple adults for a visit to Eden Prairie and it was difficult to find a house that would fit us comfortably. Not only was the house wonderful, but it was one of the cleanest and nicest VRBOs we've ever stayed in and the checkout procedures were far simpler than any we stayed at, which made our early morning to catch a flight so much less stressful.

We had a group of six women. This rental needs mirrors in each room along with nightstands/dressers. Trying to get ready was very difficult for all of us with no mirrors.Also, it states that it’s walking distance to downtown this is true, kind of. You have to cross over highway seven no sidewalk to get to it. Being close to downtown would be more of a description than walking distance.

Lake Minnetonka Excelsior

Our entire family met in Excelsior for an extended weekend. The house was really well done and had all the amenities that we needed. However, there are a few things that could be improved - 2 of the 5 bedrooms have bunk beds with no other furniture, the sheets and towels were still in the washer/dryer so we had to do that before we could shower or go to bed, and beware of the busyness of the street right outside the front door - very fast & very dangerous if you have littles playing outside. Also, with that busy street, there is no way a person could walk to the downtown or lake, in fact, there is no walkway from the property to do so. Our family dealt with it and had an excellent time. The property owner was very responsive and helpful and expressed his apologies for his difficulty with his cleaning service. I would recommend this property but not to families with small children.
