We like to bike and this place is a perfect middle of the way location to the multitude of trails in San Antonio and the hill country trails. Even a couple shorter trails right in Boerne.
The apartment is perfect size and has everything you need for a short or longer stay!

Very personable and cooperative. We invite the back anytime!
Can't imagine a better location or more comfortable place to stay in Boerne. The apartment is cozy and well-appointed with quality cookware and bedding. It has everything a person might need, including optional visits from the hosts' dog. The hosts are responsive right away for questions, and even offered to get a Roku so we could use our Netflix account. We would certainly stay here again.

Loved the Apartment!
My best friend and I stayed here for four nights and loved it. Nancy, our hostess, offered help and recommendations for our shopping in Boerne and was just a joy to meet. We also visited Lost Maples State Park which was only about an hour's scenic drive away. The apartment was comfortable and well furnished. We had a full kitchen, shower/tub, washer/dryer, and our own parking space. This was a great place to stay and we would definitely stay here again -- loved it!

It was a pleasure to have you! Thanks for taking such good care of everything, and come back anytime!
Nancy kept in close contact, check in was a breeze. The exterior courtyard, is packed with very nice wildflowers & the likes. The upstairs interior is much nicer than the online pictures can describe. I was solo, out on a work deployment, & it was absolutely perfect for me. Couldn’t say enough about it. Don’t hesitate, scoop it up & enjoy your stay. Because I know you will !!
A sweet bubbling fountain greets visitors in the lovely courtyard of this Boerne Texas gem. The studio apartment had everything I needed - towels, paper goods, kitchen items, washer and dryer. The location was perfect - close to everything one would want - groceries, restaurants, gas, Main street stores and boutiques. Yet I still felt I was getting away from it all at this location that abuts green space. Please note that the VRBO apartment is accessed by stairs so one will need to carry their luggage and groceries up stairs. This was no bother for me and a welcome chance to exercise and work my muscles. I would definitely return to this unique unit lovingly designed by the architect owner. I had a great stay. Everything was perfect.
It was the perfect location and facility for me. For a couple, it would be perfect. The apartment is clean as a whistle, amazingly compact, but with all the facilities and amenities one would want. Nancy and Jon are wonderfully friendly and helpful, and all the delights of the town and adjacent Hill Country are easily accessible. 👍👍

This is a lovely place with all the comforts of home. The property is beautiful and the homeowners are warm and hospitable. The location is perfect for daily walks along the creek or to Main Street. There are so many great choices for things to do and places to dine, it's a challenge to fit them all in during the stay. EE - Exceeds Expectations!

Comfy little space
While house hunting in the Hill Country recently I was lucky enough to find this lovely little apartment to serve as my home base for a month. It was so nice to come back to a nice, cool place & relax after a full day on the road. On other days I was able to get out & explore the town of Boerne since everything is so close. The owners couldn't have been nicer & even offered up the little creek at the bottom of the property to use as a bit of a sanctuary. Being hotter than I am used to I only ventured down there one time, but I could see where it would be lovely on a cool evening. I would definitely recommend this lovely place for a single person or couple who appreciates comfort & architectural design.

Exceded expectation
Visiting family so this was a home away from their home. Quiet, relaxing, friendly atmosphere, clean. All the comforts I needed when I needed "me" time from their hectic schedule. Centrally located so I was able to attend all my four grandsons sporting and school events of which there were many. Would definitely return and stay again when I am in Boerne escaping the NY winter

Fantastic quiet getaway!
So completely impressed with this little space. It was comfortable with all the conveniences of home. Quiet and peaceful, yet close to San Antonio and the cute little shops in downtown Boerne. My husband and I will definitely come and stay again!

Improvements needed
We could not sleep on the bed due to CREAKING ( perhaps due to a bad frame and/or box spring). The dining table is too wobbly and the chairs need new pads.
In all, the entire furniture needs to be replaced.
DV C.
Response from VrboOwner on 27 Mar, 2020
Owner update: Our bed no longer creaks! The architect-owner has built a new frame that supports the bed, so it does not rest on the original wooden slats. We try hard to respond to our guests' needs, and as you'll see from the more balanced reviews below, the apartment was built in 2010 and is extremely clean and well-furnished with a new mattress and box spring, antique and IKEA furniture and all new appliances.

Great place to stay
Over all it was great with all the amenities of home, but bed can use a better mattress. We had a great time in Boerne. We plan on staying there again and would recommend to friends.
Response from VrboOwner on 27 Mar, 2020
Taste in mattresses is very individual. We are sorry you didn't like ours. We bought it last year, so it is very new, and the mattress pad is of high quality and was also purchased within the last 6 months. We apologize for your inconvenience.

Delightful Apartment in Boerne
This is a contemporary garage apartment in an interesting neighborhood in Boerne. The area seems to be in transition and is a mixture of old and new homes. The yard is beautifully landscaped with a small fountain in the entry area. The interior of the apartment is nicely furnished with an eclectic mix of antiques, IKEA type furniture, and colorful rugs and pictures. The apartment seems new and was immaculate. One of the best features is a small kitchen with a stove, fridge, and dishwasher. The bed is a full-size mattress which was a little on the small side but comfortable. Overall, it was a great place to stay. The owner was friendly and easy to work with. Next time we're in the area, we will definitely stay here again.

A delightful gem in Boerne!
We spent a week in this delightful apartment at the beginning of April. Boerne is a town we've come to know over two previous visits, and it was good to be so close to the town centre and the wonderful walkway along Cibolo Creek. The apartment had everything we needed and had a well outfitted kitchen including a dishwasher! Hosts Nancy and Jon made us feel very welcome. We would definitely stay there again!

What a great place to stay in Boerne!
We were very happy travelers. The owner's communication from our first message to our arrival phone call was immediate and professional. Nancy was there to greet us and hand us the key at the moment we arrived. The private entrance was a plus and the stairway to the upstairs apartment was extremely sturdy. The architecture of the place was amazing and evident from every view. Once inside, I was welcomed by high ceilings and a comfortable layout. All of our luggage was easily stored out of view in the large walk-in closet. The place was a blend of country charm with state of the art amenities like the LCD TV, Toshiba-Carrier ductless AC/heater, and a high efficiency stacked washer/dryer. My wife was happy and so was I. Our stay was wonderful. The kids enjoyed the muffins, bananas, and milk that Nancy stocked for them and I enjoyed having lots of fridge space to marinate BBQ before visiting a local park and grilling. Bottom line: great location, friendly folks, and a good night's stay.

Why they chose this property
The apartment for rent is self-contained, on the second floor, and is across the courtyard from our home, with its own gated entrance. We like the fact that we can walk to the Bear Moon Bakery (Wed-Sun) with pastries, breakfasts and lunch), or breakfast or lunch at the Boerne Daily Grind. Boerne Taco House and Mary's Tacos are about a 1/2-mile away. For entertainment there are numerous craft breweries or Boerne Cork and Keg, Bistro 259 for an outdoor Biergarten, and for an upscale dinner: the Cypress Grill, Valeria Restaurant or the Creek Restaurant, all but Valeria within a 10-minute walk. We also have chickens nearby and deer wandering along the creek behind the house. It's truly country in the city!
For outings, there's Enchanted Rock and Fredericksburg 1 hour away. The Sunset Cafe in Fredericksburg and Hilltop Cafe outside it should not be missed. Only 12 miles from here is Comfort, with its well-preserved downtown and the beautiful Bending Branch winery. Listen to live acoustic sounds near the outdoor fireplace overlooking the hills on the weekends. Other great winerie: St. Tryphon (15 minute drive) or Singing Water (35 min.). Guadalupe River State Park is 20 minutes away, and Boerne Lake offers swimming, and some other great state parks nearby. Boerne itself boasts a well-known nature center, hike and bike trails, Second Saturday arts, crafts, and gallery hopping, and numerous other points of interest, which we will be glad to let you know about if you're interested.
What makes this property unique
We are in an eclectic residential neighborhood 3 walkable blocks from Main Street. Boerne is a sweet little town, but for extended visits, the large grocery store HEB is a convenient 5 minute drive, and San Antonio is only 30 minutes away. The Hill Country offers beautiful drives and vistas.
