About this property

Two minute walk to Short Sands Beach!

Clean and bright two-bedroom condo right in the heart of York Beach, Maine.

Short Sands beach is right down the block – walk out the driveway and you can see the waves.

The unit includes two off-street parking spots, right outside the back door. This condo is on two floors (bedrooms and full bath are on second floor). Sorry, but pets are not allowed. No smoking or vaping, either.

The first floor includes a kitchen stocked with microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, hand soap, paper towels, dishwasher detergent, and cleaning supplies. There are two counter-height stools at the counter. The attached dining room includes a table that seats six. The living room has two couches and a 42” LCD television and a DVD player. The living room opens up to a private patio, with outdoor seating for four, and a gas BBQ. There is one A/C unit downstairs.

The first floor also features a half-bath and coat closet.

Upstairs, there are two bedrooms and an adjoining outside deck. Enjoy coffee on the second-floor deck each morning. Master bedroom includes a queen-size bed and LCD television. The second bedroom contains two twin beds, a dresser, and tv. Both bedrooms include window air-conditioners, and large closets. The bathroom has a bath/shower and a double sink. A stacked full-size washer and dryer are housed off of the upstairs hallway.

perfect spot!

My 79 year old mother and I stayed at this condo last week and it was perfect! Moira was in contact with us prior to the week we rented, she was very easy to work with and responded to my emails almost immediately. The condo was spotless and well equipped for our stay. We brought our own beach chairs but there are a few included in the condo (they looked brand new!) and we used the beach buggy (also included) every day for the one minute walk it took to get to the beach. There are 3 other condos in the complex but it was very quiet while we were there. There are 2 parking spots for this condo (which is rare) so there was a spot for our daily visitors. My mom is already talking about renting for 2 weeks next year!

Perfect location

Perfect location near short sands beach in York. Check in was easy and the host was very friendly and available if we needed anything. I travelled with my wife, our young daughter and my parents. Plenty of room for everyone, the bedrooms were located upstairs, with plenty of room downstairs in the living area and kitchen and some outdoor space on a small deck and patio. The condo is walkable to short sands beach and all the restaurants/shops downtown along with the zoo. Highly recommend!

It was a short walk to the beach, restaurants & shops. Quiet neighborhood. Nice private patio with table, umbrellas, bbq grill, etc. We were surprised at everything that was provided in the condo! Just bring your sheets & towels!

Location couldn’t be better!

The location is to die for - a short walk down the hill brings you to beautiful Short Sands Beach as well as downtown, where you’ll find shops and restaurants. The property has everything you need. It was clean and fully stocked. The beds are comfortable with the bedrooms being very good size, outdoor space, a grill, etc. We’re very happy with our choice to stay here and will consider staying again next year!

Silver lining we found this little gem.

We have been going to York Beach for 13 years and have stayed at the same place. This year the timing did not work out. There is always a silver lining. We found this little gem instead. I have been going to Maine since I was a young adolescent and I this was my best stay yet. I have stayed at many different hotels, cottages etc but this by far was my favorite. I highly recommend this property as it was within walking distance to any/all of your needs.

A Wonderful York Beach Hideaway

Great location, great accommodations and a great owner. Our 7th year coming back and hope to come back for many more years. Moira is great to work with and the condo is in such a great location. You just park the car and can walk everywhere for a fabulous vacation. The Beach puts on such a great show and its just a few steps away.

Love this condo...it is in the middle of where you want to be

This condo is spacious, and bright and clean with a nice breeze always flowing. It is located a quick walk to the beach or downtown, and yet it is quiet and peaceful. The condo itself is well stocked and any questions you may have the owners take care of right away. We have stayed here the last 5 years and always look forward to returning.

York Beach Getaway - the best place to enjoy summer in Maine

This is our 7th season at the condo and we wouldn't think of going anywhere else. The condo is perfect. Close to the beach, very clean, everything you need to have a great time. What makes it so great is that Moira, the owner makes sure all is set for your arrival. You do not need to worry about anything. Our plans are to return and have another great vacations full of happy memories.

perfect rental!

We stayed for 2 weeks and could not have asked for anything better. Perfect location for the short walk to the beach and downtown. Even though there are 3 other condos in the building, we did not hear anyone. Moira was very easy to work with. Everything we needed was included in the condo, just had to bring sheets and towels. Cant wait for next year!

I have vacationed in York Harbor and York Beach almost every year since 1979. For years, our extended family rented a large house, first in York Harbor, then in York Beach. After spending so much time in Maine, we decided to purchase our own place.

Why they chose this property

We loved how close it is to town and to the beach. It's so easy for the kids to head back home from the beach for lunch or some quiet time. Going to watch the taffy pull at Goldenrod is something we do *every* time we are in town. It never gets old. I love watching the weddings on the Union Bluff's lawn every Friday and Saturday evening.

What makes this property unique

We love all that there is to do in York Beach and how close it is to Ogunquit and Portsmouth, NH.
