Amazing property and location. Host was fantastic and communicated with us every step of the way. Check in and check out processes was super easy and quick. Place was super clean and well stocked with ameneties. We'd love to visit again !
My mother, sister, daughters and I came into town to spend Mother’s Day weekend with my recently widowed stepmom. The home was the perfect home away from home. Couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. Will hopefully stay there again for future visits.
For about the same price as a decent hotel, this property felt more like home, was conveniently located, and gave us room to spread out and not have to worry about disturbing neighbors, etc. Plus great communication with the property owner. Would book again and highly recommend.
My family has stayed at a lot of VRBO's in the past but there is no comparison to this one. Hardy was so attentive, responsive to any of our questions, and the home itself fit our every need. I've never had one so well stocked with everything we needed and more. An added perk was how centrally located it was to everything in Toccoa, but secluded enough to give you peace & quite. I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting the Toccoa area in the future.
Needed a nice place in a quiet area and this property caught my eye as a home away from home.
Description and pictures of this property do it justice. Exactly what we expected. Home away from home in a nice quiet area. Fenced in yard was a plus for my dog so she could get some much needed exercise after a 6 hour trip to burn off some energy. Very clean and well stocked with eating/ cooking supplies and food. Property owner, Hardy kept in touch and was a text or phone call away if we needed him. If we ever come this way again, we will definitely be inquiring on the property again. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
I needed some quiet time to myself, and to stay near where my daughter was at Camp Mikell. This house could have housed two couples and two kids comfortably. The host was generous with access to cooking supplies, bread, eggs, and milk. The bed was comfy. Access to Roku on TV was nice. If you've never been to Toccoa, cell phone coverage is spotty in the area, so make sure to GPS before you walk out the door. I would recommend this host and this location to a friend. Enjoy!
Excellent location for any event at the Toccoa waterfall. An older home that’s been modernized with all the appliances & upgraded shower area. Quiet with good separation from neighboring homes. Pet friendly was a big positive since our Yorkie is a beloved member of the family. 😁
Hardy Underhay was a kind & thoughtful host who promptly replied to all texts & made us feel welcomed. Since we had a late evening arrival, we especially appreciated his thoughtfulness in providing breakfast foods for the next morning.
We loved staying in this house, it had everything you would need for a comfortable stay. Hardy the host was wonderful and the communication was awesome as to check in, check out or if we needed anything. We would definitely stay here again!
We enjoyed our stay at this quiet getaway. The home is spacious, well equipped and the beds are comfortable. We were in town for the Currahee Military Weekend and we were a 5 minute drive to every event in town. Hardy is a great host and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay.
The place was clean and looked just like the pictures. Hardy was very friendly and available. Yard was nice. I love the white picket fence. It was both cute and practical. We were gone during the day time (my daughter got married a short distance away) but I would have loved to enjoy that yard at night by the fire pit. Highly recommend.
Had all we needed. The best was the fenced in yard for the dogs to run around in. Maintained yard with lots of space to throw a ball or frisbee. Hiking was close by. Plenty of restaurant options nearby as well. We also cooked and found the kitchen had all the items we needed. Bed was comfortable. Host provided great information and was very communicative. Appreciated the available food options provided - eggs, milk, etc. Wifi worked great. The house was as pictured. Thanks for a nice weekend.
This was the perfect house for our stay in Toccoa, GA! Our host was so easy to work with and his communication was top notch! He thought of absolutely everything for the house to make our stay so very comfortable and enjoyable.
This house had everything anyone would need. Plenty of towels, coffee, breakfast items, information on restaurants and things to do. Even firewood and bug spray.
The location is fantastic and the scenery is beautiful. The house has everything you could ever need and more. The host laterally thought of everything. The host communicates immediately and effectively. We had zero issues! I have already recommended it to friends and family. We can’t wait to go back ! Wish all properties were this nice. We appreciated the bagels. eggs, fruit etc. So thoughtful! We enjoyed the shower with built in music too!
Me and a few buddies were in the area for a powerlifting meet. House location is so ideal, not too far from town, but off on its own for quiet nights. Host was very communicative and very friendly, was very kind to leave the fridge and pantry stocked with some things we might have needed.
This rental was perfect for a wedding visit to Toccoa! It had everything we could need and in a great location. Owner very thoughtful and helpful to make our stay comfortable.
The property manger was SO easy to work with. I loved that milk, bread and eggs were provided, definitely made things easier for our first morning. Loved the fire pit and having wood provided. Loved the fenced in area for our fur baby to be able to run and not have to be on leash. The shower was cool. :) If I had to give any suggestions, it would be, if our stay was longer I would have liked to have somewhere to hang our clothes. For the amount of nights we stayed (3), living out of our bags was okay. Thank you for you hospitality. If we are ever back in the area , we would definitely consider staying here again. Thank you!
This is an incredible home and such an incredible host! Hardy was communicative and understanding. We felt well taken care of the entire time. The home is spacious for the family and has a nice fenced in yard for pets. The home is a close drive to multiple places in the area. I could not recommend this place enough! Absolutely must stay. Thank you Hardy!

About the host

I am originally from South Africa and have lived in the United States for almost 30 years. In my younger days I backpacked around the world for several years. I enjoyed and can relate to staying in different places with many different hosts. I look forward to providing the same experiences to my guests. I enjoy motorcycle riding in and around the Toccoa area. There are many curvy and mountainous roads to choose from providing beautiful vistas and scenery. I enjoy life and try to live everyday to the fullest sharing adventures or ideas with other like minded people. Feel free to reach out if you would like some suggestions on points of interest, rides, restaurants or scenic routes. After staying at my place I think you would agree that I go over and above any other place or VRBO you have ever stayed at before.
