We loved it!! It was very cozy and had all of the comforts. We enjoyed coffee and breakfast in and went to Bellingham for dinners. The hosts were great and the communication was excellent. Thank you for a great stay!
We loved our stay at the chalet - it was very peaceful to watch the trees sway from the giant windows and hear the creek rushing below from the deck. Everything was wonderful! Will return!

Thank you so much for the wonderful review, Aliza! We are so happy to read that you guys enjoyed your stay at Alpine! We can not wait to host you again!
This is a cozy and lovely cabin with a wood stove and creek out front for great ambiance. There is a convenience store about a mile away and a trailhead a short walk down the road. It is at the edge of a neighborhood but still feels very private. The stairway to the entrance and inside to the bedroom could be an issue if mobility is a challenge. The kitchen is well-equipped and the fridge is nice. Everything feels very updated but still rustic and charming. We loved it so much we even extended our stay because we didn't want to leave!

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at the unique chalet and loved everything about it! The house had everything we needed, the bed is very comfortable, and we enjoyed playing some of the games that were there. It was quiet and woodsy, and beautiful. The only thing we didn’t like was having to check out.
This is a beautiful place--we loved the ferns and the sounds of nature! It was nice to relax on the deck. The kitchen is well stocked with plates/glasses/pans/etc. Please be careful coming down from the loft, there is a low ceiling and my 5'4" forehead carelessly found it.Overall, the place was very clean--the bathroom was clean, the carpets are in great shape, the floors were clean. I knocked it down a point because the baking sheet wasn't clean (to be fair, previous guests hid it in the oven) and the washer/dryer is in a closet, so the washer doesn't get adequate time to dry out after use and is a bit musky.
We are happy to be based right here in the beautiful Pacific Northwest! We absolutely love being hosts and enjoy welcoming a wide variety of people to the area. Sharing the properties with travelers is more than just a job for us—it's a genuine passion. We love hearing about your adventures and strive to make sure you have comfortable, and functional home bases for your stay. We can't wait to host you!
