Wonderful log cabin on beautiful spot and nicely private. Kitchen and bath perfectly outfitted. Host is very responsive. Great porch and backyard fire pit sitting spots.
We booked this in place of a hotel to visit family. It felt like a vacation inside of a vocation. It was so peaceful at this cabin. I would definitely book again!
This place was the best one we have stayed in so far. The kids loved the house and so did myself and my husband. Everything was nearby and everything was great!

Clean cozy stay
It's a clean cozy place, it'd be more convenient if there is some kind of cover above the fire pit.

Feels Like Home
This is our 3rd or 4th time staying here. Everything about this place is perfect for us. We love being out in nature and this place is built right in the center of it. But there is everything you need nearby. Very peaceful, beautifully decorated, and extremely cozy. Nick and his family has managed to make it feel like home for us! Thanks again for another great trip. We will be coming back soon. Also this place has everything you could possibly need. Whenever we forget to grab something during the chaos of packing up, we are sure to find what we need in a drawer or closet there. Very convenient!
We were all very happy and not to mention very pleased and impressed with the cleanliness and provision of all the amenities. Thank you

Peaceful
If you are looking for peace, quiet, and a connection with nature, this is your destination! The cabin is immaculate and the owner has done an excellent job anticipating guests needs, especially for families. The bath towels are thick and generous, an example of owner going above and beyond! We are an older couple with orthopedic challenges, and found navigating some of the stairs difficult. We have reached out to the owner with these specific concerns. He is very opened to feedback and may possibly alter to make more body friendly.

Amazing AGAIN!!
We stayed last year for 3 days, it was so nice & relaxing that this year we stayed for 5 days. We absolutely love it here! Even my 6yr old granddaughter said, "Dad, this feels like home". The cabin is so clean & cozy, it has everything you could need. The owner Nick is very nice, down to earth, and easy to talk to, we even met the cleaning lady as we were leaving, she is an absolute gem. Every morning I would have my coffee on the front porch and wait for the deer to show up, they never disappoint. I had brought some yard games, but found that there are some already there for your use, so we had some great cornhole competitions. One night we sat out by the fire and watched a meteor shower. So beautiful. Its nice to go to Erie but not have to stay in the hustle and bustle of the summer beach goers. At the cabin, your just about a 45 minute drive away. Honestly, you get the best of both worlds!Thank you Nick!

Great Place
We went on our first family vacation in years... We are from Pittsburgh, and I decided to go to Lake Erie during the "great heat wave". Well, we decided to stay here, which is about a 45 minute drive to the lake. The pictures need updated to include some summer photos, it looks a lot different with all the trees grown in. It was really peaceful. There is a pond on the property. My kids and I enjoyed looking in to see the (loud) frogs and fish. Inside, there is an open floor plan. The couches were comfy. The kitchen, where I spent a lot of time, has a lot of the basic needs for cooking. They have a gas grill on the back deck. The beds were too soft for me... I felt like I was sleeping on a waterbed. They have ACs in all the bedrooms. There was an issue with the toilet... on the first night, water shot out from the valve, leaving water all over the bathroom floor. We cleaned it up, of course, and turned the valve down to reduce the pressure. I texted Nick who responded right away (it was late). His wife and the maintenance man came the next morning to fix it. Apparently, there was a crack in the valve, and the whole thing needed replaced. His wife apologized and bought us 2 bottles of wine and a case of beer, which was appreciated. They do have a washer and dryer, which came in handy after our day at the beach. They also have a lot of cleaning products, mops, brooms, rags, etc. As a mom of 4, I really appreciated this! Made cleanup easy! And they also have a high-chair for those of us who have smaller kids (I have an 18 month-old). The older kids really liked the house and asked for us to come back, which we will in the winter time. Overall, a great place!
