The space
This charming single-family cottage is a cozy, three-bedroom retreat just one block from the lake. Situated on the main floor, the three spacious bedrooms each feature a comfortable queen-sized bed, offering a restful place to unwind after a day of outdoor activities. One of the bedrooms has its own ensuite bathroom, providing added privacy and convenience.

The heart of the cottage is the inviting eat-in kitchen, which is seamlessly connected to the cozy living room, creating an open, airy space perfect for family meals and relaxation. Large windows fill the space with natural light and offer scenic views of the surrounding area.

We had a great weekend staying at the Loft! The property was exactly like the listing, very neat and clean. We loved the outside fire pit and seating. A close two minute walk down to the lake was also a great perk. We will be booking again.

The cottage was clean and adorably decorated. The neighborhood is quiet and it’s a quick walk to the lake. We had a fire in the fire pit and walked along the lake. There’s a bagel shop and antique shop within walking distance. The host is very quick to respond when we had questions. We look forward to booking again!

The beds were elevated, almost needed a stool to get up on it. The mattresses were very firm. Everything was white and with children that like to draw on things we felt at risk of staining things may happen (luckily it didn't) the kids enjoyed sleeping up in the loft. Overall a good place to stay but if you're short in stature bring a stepstool with you.

I’m sorry you felt that the beds were too high. We’ve never had a complaint about that before. In fact we’ve always had five star reviews. This is the first time we’ve ever had anything less. Although white and light colors may not have been suitable for you we do intentionallychoose those because it keeps things clean and sanitized. We prefer white linens and sheets so any dirt and stains can easily be identified and guests know that our place is thoroughly clean and sanitized. Again I’m really sorry that you were disappointed in the height of the beds but hope otherwise you had a nice stay.
