Great location! Close to Blowing Rock and Boone. We really enjoyed the stay. Kids loved the hot tub. Perfect for a family of 5. The hill was a little steep to get to the cabin which was described. Just fyi if you dont have 4 wheel drive maybe get a little running start. We got there in the dark and i just creeped up the hill and almost didnt make it. Or at least felt that way. No issues afterthat.
The cabin is advertised as being over 2000 sq feet and it's not even close to that. It is advertised as having ac window units but the units were in the closet and not installed. The cabin was not very clean especially the kitchen area and there were multiple dangerous broken pieces of furniture. It's a good location so it's very unfortunate for all these other issues. When you have a family of 4 it's very difficult to have 1/2 the space you were anticipating.
