About the host
Hosted by Jackie and Mark Smith

As a very active retired couple, we truly enjoy sharing the private, peaceful pleasures of living in the "country". We have worked hard to nurture and maintain our log home where we had our wedding and raised our kids who are now incredible adults living on their own. We truly hope that you enjoy your stay as much as we and our family, friends, and guests have over the years! If you need anything during your stay, let us know and we will do our best to accommodate!
Why they chose this property
Our gated, 20-acre property is surrounded by woods, rural and very private. That being said, we are conveniently located close enough to essentials for an active lifestyle: groceries, restaurants, golf courses, wineries, historical sites, the local airport and the main interstates through central and southeastern Virginia.
What makes this property unique
The uniqueness of a log home located in a safe and friendly community and the privacy of living on a rural, wooded property make our home a wonderful respite from the rat race of city life. The outdoor amenities: pool, cabana and outdoor kitchen are the icing on the cake!
