Lovely Sanibel

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a wonderful property. Close to the beach and so easy for a family with young children. We loved the complimentary umbrellas and chairs. Such an easy beach experience. Some features in the condo need updating, but it was comfortable and clean. We definitely recommend this property!

Unit 531 Acceptable, Not Great

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I'll definitely be returning to Sanibel Moorings, but probably not to this unit. Its location resulted in me hearing more noise from the pool equipment (filter motor, etc.) than I had expected. Also, the unit was not as updated as others I'd stayed in at Sanibel Moorings. On the plus side, I found the bed extremely comfortable. And, as always, the staff, from front desk to maintenance, were 3xtremely pleasant and accommodating.

Wonderful trip!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed in unit #531, which was super close to the beach, steps away from the pool, and beautifully furnished. Plenty of bath towels, but bring your own beach towels. We were concerned about not having a washer/dryer, but the laundry room is a very short walk from this unit. I believe it was about $5.00 to wash and dry each load. The grounds of The Moorings are filled with beautiful plants. Beach chairs were plentiful, although if you don't get one of the handful that are set up in the morning, you'll need to carry them down to the beach and back. The beach was very nice. We saw dolphins every morning. Lots of shells, of course! I highly recommend the Moorings, and this unit in particular.

Lush tropical paradise getaway!!

We are 5 women friends who have known each other 50 years. Because of COVID we had not seen each other in 2 years. This place was perfect for our once a year getaway. The grounds are lush and beautiful. The condo itself was very clean and nice and had everything we needed. The management office was very diligent to make sure we were having a good time and didn’t need anything. We will certainly go back and we would recommend this unit to friends and family!!

Awesome Time

We have stayed at Sanibel Moorings twice now and it very clean and well maintained. Love the grounds and swimming pool and very close to beach and our favorite restaraunts.

We got what we booked

Everything was pretty much what one would expect comfort, close beach access, friendly staff, beautiful grounds. I think the apartment needs 1. an ice maker 2. please replace those barrel chairs, so uncomfortable 3. stove is really ready to be replaced as well as a lot of stains on the carpet. I know this sounds bad, however,I would recommend this unit to friends.

Great family vacation spot!

Great accommodations just steps away from the Gulf of Mexico. Condo was perfect for our family of six, including kids who are 18,16, 14, and 12 years old. We rode bikes to restaurants and to explore the island.
