Welcome to Après Ski Abode; A cozy place to kick-off your ski boots and smell the fresh mountain air! Come to relax and rejuvenate mountainside! Imagine yourself waking up to crisp air and you catch a glimpse of a hot air balloon over the valley; You are already off to your perfect Colorado adventure!

The Space:
Après Ski Abode is all yours during your stay, please make yourself comfortable! Steps from your front door you will discover phenomenal views of the Valley. Enjoy your coffee while the sunshine saturates the mountainside. The condo has one bedroom with queen bed. Kitchenette is equipped with a refrigerator, microwave and oven; Dishes, silverware and cooking utensils are provided. Think of this space as a hotel room with amenities of home!

Guest Access:
Full use of condo, door code provided upon booking confirmation. Coin laundry room is on ground level, you are welcome to use. Parking is free and available on side and back of building.

The Neighborhood:
The Abode sits directly on the mountainside and provides you some fantastic views of the Valley and Mountain just outside your door. Experience a gorgeous sunset over the valley and witness the ever-changing wonder, The Rocky Mountains. It is the perfect place to relax post-adventure. I love this little condo because it is so close to everything, yet in a quiet residential setting. Steamboat has year-round activities and places to explore!

Getting Around:
Free bus stops just off property - Green Line.

Parking in back or side of building - Free.

Bikes are always a great way to navigate a small mountain town, too!

Dumpster has a bear bar and latch, please re-latch after use.

Home away from home

My fiance and I had a wonderful time staying here in steamboat springs. It was the perfect fit, located just outside of town in a quite neighborhood on the hill side. Easy quick drive to access the hot springs. We would love to come back and do it all over again soon!

Adequate if your focus is on skiing.

Overall impression is bare bones. Shower nice but bathroom sink won’t drain. Kitchen supplies adequate. Couch and sleeper sofa mattress very soft and worn out.

Basic compact accommodations worked very well for skiing. Not really within convenient walking distance of bus stop, but drive to Meadows parking lot was fine. Appreciated laundry facilities on site ($1.50 wash, $1.00 dry). Unit is somewhat low on eating utensils, but otherwise well equipped with dishes and cookware. Internet seemed to get overloaded later in the evenings, making Netflix stall. Would have appreciated a real table rather than outdoor furniture. Suggested definitions for star ratings posted in unit were ridiculous (their definition for a 5 star rating would only make sense if the rating were out of 10).

Misleadingly Advertised

The picture when first look at this condo is of a couch that is not at the condo. The couch that is there is old and you sink in when you sit on it. Not comfortable at all and it is the only main seating there. The WiFi lost internet connection every evening at 9:00. We told management but it was never resolved. We couldn’t watch TV. They need to replace the filthy rug. They claim that they leave coffee, but there were 5 Krueig pods. We couldn’t even use the coffee we brought with us. We were locked out of the outside trash dumpster. And it would be real nice if a busline schedule was left so people could figure out how to get around.

Last resort

Not enough parking. I came in after 10 at night and had a hard time finding a spot. The floors in this unit are VERY COLD! Be sure to bring slippers.The unit is small, especially the bath. So small the toilet paper roll is suspended from the vanity and I had to bend over to shave. The bathroom sink was clogged. The closet door in the bedroom is broke and won't close. Many of the handles on the cupboards are broke or missing. The TV is internet based, and the internet goes in and out. The closest bus stop is a 1/2 mile, not a good trail to walk either. Forget taking the bus. Forget trying to adjust your reservations, no cancellations and they won't work with you. Only good thing was it as clean.
