Lovely, cozy retreat post-Thanksgiving

The property was really nice and cozy. Loved the fenced in backyard and proximity to the water and downtown area. This was a new location for our annual Friendsgiving, and we had a lovely time.

Great spot in Tahoe!

Quick & easy check in, & centrally located near many local shops, restaurants, & sites. The property really worked out well, as it was just a short walk/drive to other family members staying nearby. We can excuse the mouse that decided to make itself known the evening before our departure... All in all, a great place to stay & would recommend! Thanks!

Little gem in Kings Beach

Tucked away in the pines, but just a short walk to the main road, restaurants and shops, this cozy, sparkling clean cabin with a spacious fenced backyard is a real gem! We found everything we needed in the kitchen except wine glasses and coffee filters, but the grocery store was so close by, it was no big deal.

As a family we travel often and we typically rent VRBO's or hotels. We also base our choices on reviews and the listing and how it is described. Based on reviews and the listing we choose to book this place for the Christmas week. Upon arrival we were shocked to find that the house is literally across the street from a large school. This was NOT in the listing and only after I complained it was then placed in the listing. The place next door to this house is the "Boys and Girls" club. Thankfully school was out of session or we would have left immediately. The house is VERY small although the photos do not show just how small. The walls must be made of paper because EVERYSINGLE thing you can hear from upstairs to downstairs. If you choose to sleep in the downstairs room be prepared to hear every single foot step, every cough, or the person turning in their bed. Yes, it's that bad. The bedding was old and the pillows were so flat and disgusting that we had to go out to the store to buy pillows so we can sleep on them. The kitchen may have numerous miscellaneous items but there are no real glasses or wine glasses. Just cheap plastic cups and only 6 of them. It was awful even trying to find some coffee mugs. The throw carpet in the living room always creeps up and creates this big wrinkle and I actually tripped on it in the morning. The bathroom upstairs door doesn't even shut. We had NO wifi for 3 days. This place is awful and we are VERY disappointed.

Cute cabin, great location

We enjoyed our stay! Pros: very short walk to the beach, quiet neighborhood, cozy cabin with easy to use gas fireplace. Nicely remodeled kitchen and bathrooms, and fenced-in yard with cute seating. Cons: We were constantly sneezing! Not sure if it was from some dusty curtains (or maybe previous cats in house?), but my partner and I both had horrible allergies when inside the cabin. There was no soap/shampoo available, no tissues, and no wine glasses, but otherwise had everything we needed.

The most charming cottage

I have my favorite place to stay in King’s Beach, but it wasn’t available. I took a chance on this one and am thrilled I did! I have a new favorite place! It is beautifully remodeled while retaining the mountain cabin charm. While there were only 2 of us, care has been taken to make this a very comfortable place for larger groups. The living area and kitchen are a large great room, with comfortable seating for at least 10. The bathrooms are beautiful and the bedrooms very comfortable. The location is just a few blocks walk to the beach or a great coffee shop I think the only disappointment was the lack of sugar and creamer accompanying the lovely bag of coffee that was left for us. So petty I know. I look forward to returning in the future.
