We’re Amanda and Brian Jensen—founders of Sanctuary Treehouse Resort in Sevierville, Tennessee, right at the gateway to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. We’re a family-run team, and everything here was built with one goal: to create a place that brings people together and brings out that “kid again” feeling—without giving up modern day comforts.

We’re from East Tennessee and have spent our lives loving these mountains, the people, and the magic of the Smokies. Hosting is personal to us. We don’t just offer a place to sleep—we create an "experience" you’ll talk about for years. From the moment you arrive, you’ll find thoughtful touches, playful surprises, and one-of-a-kind details you won’t see anywhere else. It's all in the details!

What we enjoy most is meeting guests from all over the country (and the world!) and hearing how their stay became a favorite family memory—birthday trips, anniversaries, reunions, proposals, “first vacations,” and much-needed resets. We’ve poured our hearts into every treehouse, and we’re still moved by the stories, letters, and reviews our guests leave behind.

We chose this location because it feels like a true Smoky Mountain escape—peaceful, private, and surrounded by nature—yet it’s still close to everything that makes the area so fun. Our treehouses sit on 40 wooded acres overlooking two championship golf courses, with sweeping views of the Great Smoky Mountains and the Little Pigeon River. The “neighborhood” here is made up of trees, wildlife, sunsets, and fresh mountain air—and that’s exactly what we wanted for our guests.

What we enjoy most is the balance: you can wake up to birdsong and sip coffee in the treetops, spend your day exploring the Smokies or our 1-mile on site scavenger hunt with treasure awaiting at the end, shopping, dining, or visiting local attractions. Then come back to quiet evenings under the stars with a fire.

It feels remote in the best way—like you’ve discovered a hidden sanctuary—without being far from Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Sevierville conveniences.
We also love how scenic and walkable the property is. Guests can stroll the resort, take in the overlooks, and enjoy our community fire pit and outdoor kitchen area.
