Nestled in the charming coastal town of El Granada, California, this cozy 1-bedroom apartment is the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. With its prime location just a short walk from the beach and across the street from Quarry Park, you can enjoy the great outdoors to your heart's content. Plus, you'll have the added bonus of two cruiser bikes available for your use during your stay.

Additionally, please note that there are stairs down to access the unit. If you have mobility concerns, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you.

The apartment itself is thoughtfully designed and beautifully decorated, with a comfortable king-size bed, a fully equipped kitchen, and a cozy living area. Additionally, you'll have access to a dedicated parking spot and a private entrance, ensuring that your stay is as convenient and comfortable as possible. CLOSEST BEACH: The closest beach to the house is called Surfer's Beach, which is located just 0.4 miles away. It's a popular destination for surfers due to the consistent waves. It's a relatively small beach, but it provides breathtaking views of the ocean and nearby cliffs. While the water can be a bit chilly, the waves are perfect for surfing. In case you don't have any surfing equipment, there are several surf shops nearby where you can rent equipment or take lessons. Overall, Surfer's Beach is a great spot for anyone looking to catch some waves or just enjoy a beautiful day by the ocean.

You'll find a variety of seafood restaurants and markets in the area, as well as recreational activities such as kayaking, paddleboarding, and whale watching. Overall, Pillar Point Harbor is a beautiful and lively destination that is definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

Cottage was perfect just as described. Check in was clear, room was clean, bed was very comfortable, and stocked with everything we needed. Very short drive to beaches and restaurants, we didn’t get a chance to walk to the beach but seemed very close to walk. Overall a great place to stay.

Gorgeous stay in Half-Moon Bay

The house was amazing and beautifully decorated! The king size bed and big tv was great for relaxing after a long day of hiking. The patio outside was a perfect place to drink coffee in the morning and receive a warm hello from hula waiting for you to come through the gate for belly rubs. The location was perfect, near the park and beach and the pump track was awesome! Having a full kitchen on the property was super convenient. All around one of the best stays!!

A perfect location for quiet relaxation

Beautifully furnished, without the kitsch many places clutter your lodgings with. Makes for a relaxing and serene stay. A quiet location with the added bonus of a nearby park and trails into the trees. Some Bay Area friends came by to surprise my husband for his birthday. They too were impressed, and said they would love to come over & stay even tho they live only half an hour away. Mahalo!

This studio apartment was very quaint, quiet, and relaxing. Location is perfect, right across the street from a park with a hiking path. The apartment had all that we needed, a most comfortable bed, full kitchen, nice front patio. The smart TV was easy to sign on to for our movie channel and has good sound. The place was very serene with a waterfall and eco-themed garden full of succulents. We had a great time and recommend for a couples weekend or more. Half Moon Bay/El Granada is a great escape for a slower pace, great seafood, and friendly atmosphere.

Cozy Cottage on the Coast

Coastal Zen Cottage ... what a find!!! Great location, beautiful property! Private outdoor space was nice. The inside, WoW! Full kitchen with enough cookware to prepare most things easily if you want to eat in. Table for meals and/or games. Bed is comfortable and bathroom is spacious with a large shower and vanity with storage. Comfy couch and fire t.v. for relaxing after a day out. Bonus right outside the door is Quarry Park. Beautiful trails with plenty of views!!! Finally, the hosts are great and very responsive!

This quaint little guest suite was perfect, located in a cute neighborhood of El Granada on Half Moon Bay. Guest parking was easy & clearky marked. The steps leading to the entry were beautifully landscaped, and the interior was just as shown in the photos and very clean. Super comfy bed with great pillows!Easy access to watch surfers at Maverick Beach, take a hike out to Pillar Point Beach, or to drive to downtown Half Moon Bay which has a relaxed feel with some interesting shops & places to eat.The host, Melanie, was super responsive when the smart TV didn't connect to the internet on our first night-- the router was reconnected within 10 minutes.We'd stay here again!

I'm a proud California native and my husband has spent most of his life on the stunning Coastside. We're raising our family in El Granada and it's been an incredible experience. We love to surf, mountain bike, and travel together, but there's something truly special about being involved in this tight-knit community.

Why they chose this property

My husband and I chose to live in El Granada for many reasons. For starters, the natural beauty of the area is simply breathtaking. The stunning coastline, rolling hills, and vibrant wildlife make it a truly unique and special place to call home. Additionally, the community here is incredibly welcoming and supportive. We've made lifelong friends and love participating in local events and activities. Finally, the access to outdoor activities like surfing, mountain biking, and hiking was a massive factor in our decision. We feel fortunate to live in such a wonderful place.

What makes this property unique

Our property is truly one-of-a-kind because of its unique location and community-driven features. Firstly, it's walking distance to the beach, which means that residents can enjoy the sun, sand, and surf whenever they want. Additionally, it's also within walking distance to the Breakwater BBQ, a popular local restaurant that serves up delicious food and drinks.

But what really sets our property apart is the fact that we built a community pump track as a project during the pandemic. This means that locals can enjoy a fun and challenging bike track right in our own backyard. The project brought our community together during a difficult time and has created a unique feature that sets our property apart from others in the area.
