Fisherman Village and the new Sunseeker Resort are 3 miles away. Charlotte harbor Beach park is a seven minute drive with splash pad and pool. Relax by our New pool after a day on the Beach. Bbq grill is available for grilling your favorite steaks. Property is equipped with Electronic door locks for self check in. Security Cameras at front and Rear of property for tenant safety and security. Smart Tv s available in Every room for your Streaming pleasure. Ample parking in front of house and carport.

My husband and I were down by ourselves for a quick trip. It’s a great little cottage on the water with a nice pool. It was quiet, close to things, and was well stocked.

We stayed for three weeks and loved the place. My wife and I and an 85 year old mother. It is in a small residential neighborhood, but is a short drive to restaurants, parks and such. We walked our dog several times a day and night. The neighbors were very friendly.The house is a 1950's updated bungalow. Cute interior. My mother in law loved the Moana themed room. The house is well equipped. The pool was awesome. We would definitely book is again the next time we are visiting family.

My wife and I totally enjoyed the cottage.It had everything we needed in a nice quiet neighbourhood.We loved sitting out by the pool watching the fish jump in the canal.We would definitely book here again if possible.

A nice renovated bungalow by the canal. We are impressed with the tasteful décor populated with beach -theme ornaments and wall decorations. All appliances are quite new and work well. For entertainment there’s a ROkU smartTV but no cable TV service, hence we had to rely on our own streaming subscription services. The kitchen equipment are good but a bigger frying pan would be useful. The furniture is nice and comfortable. The flooring appears new. The enticing private swimming pool is screened in and appears to be working well although we did not use it during our stay. The bathroom is a bit small but clean and functional though lacking a grap bar for safety over the bathtub. There is plenty of lawn around the property to exercise our dog. However, this part of the city has no public sidewalks, hence walking our dog in the neighbourhood was a challenge for fear of treading on private property and vehicle traffic on the roads. Nevertheless, within 20 minutes drive there are several parks for exercise and bird watching. There are no equipment provided for water sports such as kayaking. The property’s boat dock is taken up by the owner’s boat and unavailable to guests.All in all, we highly recommend this very nice and enjoyable property to spend a quiet and relaxing vacation in.

Floors dirty. My bare feet turned black every day. I had to wash them before putting my shoes on to venture out. Also Food under furniture. Ants in every room. I found a filthy mop & dry mopped the floors. Sprayed for ants. Tried to avoid taking them home. Neighborhood okay. Everything else was OK. Thank you.

Dear Virginia; I’m Sorry you felt this way about our property, but let me start by saying that it’s funny how you waited over a month to submit this review. For starters ,as I recall the first day you stated that you were apologizing for your remarks on the dirty floors because you thought it was you and you partner tracking in dirt from the out side. Well I must agree with you 100% on that message. Your partner was captured in our security cameras going outside to smoke at least 22 times a day for your entire 10 day stay. I have footage of this and I will be submitting it to Vrbo. There is absolutely no way to keep the floors sanitary when you have someone tracking in dirt from the outside every hour on the hour . Those floors were not only mopped but steam cleaned by me personally before your arrival. Secondly you stated the mop was filthy, Those mops are not the mops we use to clean the floors. We provide them for guest to use should they need to, and if 1 was dirty you could have use the other 2 provided which were there and clean.Thirdly with regards to ants, we have professional exterminators that treat property every 2 months, but sometimes ants do enter the property., as they do in all houses, you can’t control insects 100% everyday, especially when the front door is left ajar when your partner is outside smoking. I try to give all my guest a good review , even when they are difficult tenants but I will say that in this case , I had to deep clean the house on your departure because the residual smell of smoke was on all the blankets and sheets used. As well as the furniture. Future host beware of these guests, as the partner is a compulsive chain smoker.

Canal House

Started out ok. The keypad was hard to see especially when the sun was beating on it at check in. It’s perfect for a couple but tough when you have a 21 year old. Bathroom was small. The cleanliness was ok. The cleaning people need to do a better cleaning job. The floors were dirty had to clean them at arrival. There were napkins on the floor under the kitchen table. The listing said washer/dryer but it was locked up and inaccessible. Should have code to get into that in the book. Location was good for us but noisy at night. Can hear traffic. Pool looked nice but we did not use it. It was nice that cleaners and vacuum was accessible so we could clean up.

Hi Chris Thank you for your review. Please note the electronic keypad has a light that turn on only when you push the buttons. As for the Laundry room door, please note that it was not locked. I wish you would have texted me and I would have told you which door it was. We do have a utility closet that we do keep locked, but the laundry room door is kept unlocked. As for the street noise , the street we are on is usually very quiet. I will however address the floor issue with the cleaning crew , as we always try to strive for 5 stars . Hopefully we can make it better next time. Thanks again for your stay
