Roof Terrace Apartment Gustav Mahler

I am renting my new Roof-Terrace-Suite in a central location in Vienna.
The apartment is equipped with everything you can expect (broadband wifi internet, complete kitchen with microwave & dishwasher, living room with high standard furniture, cable tv, stereo sound system, and washing machine and dryer in the cellar.

The apartment has an extra small bedroom with a bid double bed, a kitchen, bathroom, big terrace and a huge living room with a very big couch. Additional there are 2 single unfoldable beds in the living room for the 3rd and 4th person. And a 5th person can sleep on the big couch (its not a real sleeping couch - but a ver big normal couch)

The apartment is very central. Only 4 min too two subway stations and several tram stations. 7 min to the city center with tram 44.

Its in a very popular neighbourhood with a lot of bars, cafes, restaurants and young, artistic and educated and international people.
Its the new trendy district in vienna. (called Brunnenmarkt area)

Parking is possible in the nearby park & ride Ottakring

So you get here a great rooftop terrace suite for a fraction of the costs of a hotel room - quite a good deal!

Enjoyable stay in a very private and quiet setting.

Clean and comfortable and especially enjoyed the outside deck area which is compact and private. Maybe a little far from the downtown area but public transport is good and very accessible. Ideal for a couple for short stay.

Vienna in February

The property was nice and clean and not far from centre, only a few stops on the tram. Host's instructions was super helpful and made it easy to find and location of restaurants and grocery shops came in handy. Would deffo stay here again. Had a great time!

Very good experience

This apartment is located conveniently to mass transit, restaurants and markets. The manager is very responsive and helpful. It is also a very quiet and safe building. The private terrace is a huge bonus and the layout is very accommodating.

Great Location

After a long tour, this neighborhood vibe was exactly what we were looking for. Christian was a very accessible host and responded quickly to our inquiries and needs. Two things though that could be better communicated… First, the air conditioning. Granted, we were there during a time of extreme heat. However, with that always being a possibility in the summer months, we only considered properties with a/c. We were disappointed that this apartment did not have central air, only a portable floor unit in the bedroom. Fortunately, sleeping was very comfortable. Second, was the parking. We were only interested in parking nearby and had trouble locating a garage. Christian gave us additional options, but not being familiar with streets and addresses we never located any. We ended up parking on the street but took our chances of getting a ticket. (Which we did…39 Euro). Turns out street parking is free at night and all day Sunday. During the day you need a parking sticker. It would have been great for the rental to include a sticker for parking. We would have gladly paid an additional 10 euro/night for that convenience and peace of mind.

Gute Wohnung

Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet, nur leider hat uns die "Ansage" zur Lautstärke auf der Terrasse und innerhalb der Wohnung etwas irritiert.... eine Strafzahlung fürs "zu laut sein" und Lautstärkemessung ist schon krass.... das sollte wie auch schon in einer anderen Bewertung angemerkt wurde, im Vorfeld kommuniziert werden. Wir wollten keine Party feiern, aber man fühlt sich eingeschränkt.....

Lovely apartment

The apartment was beautiful and very clean, I loved the roof top terrace! It was a little far from the city center but if you are well versed on mass transit thats not a problem!

La chasse aux touristes véhiculés

La galère du stationnement[ticket jaune a trouver et à remplir d'un autre temps] pour les non-residents gachent un peu le sejour dans cette capitale "musée ".Le stationnement en dehors de la ville est contraignant et la logistique est alors une perte temps pour un séjour touristique.

Stille Tage in Ottakring

Wir hatten unsere Fahrräder dabei, sodass wir nicht auf den ohnehin hervorragenden ÖPNV in Wien angewiesen waren. So waren alle relevan Ziele schnell zu erreichen. Die nähere Umgebung bietet eine Vielzahl von Restaurants und Bars. Ein Supermarkt ist gleich um die Ecke. Der Balkon ist wegen der strengen Lärmschutzregelungen in Wien abends leider praktisch nicht nutzbar. Ansonsten eine nette Unterkunft.

Komfortable und gut gelegene Ferienwohnung

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und es war alles wie beschrieben und sehr gemütlich. Sehr gute Kommunikation und problemloses Ein- und Auschecken. Lediglich der Hinweis auf die strengen Verhaltensregeln nach 22 Uhr sollten vielleicht bereits in der Wohnungsbeschreibung erwähnt werden.

Schön, aber

Tolle Lage, mit den Öffis super zentrumsnahe, aber dafür ruhig. Die Wohnung ist für 2 Personen groß genug und gemütlich, leider sind Sofa und -kissen ziemlich "abgewohnt". Und wenn der Urlaub damit beginnt, das man erst mal den Kühlschrank grundereinigen muss, bevor man seine Lebensmittel reinstellen kann, macht das keine gute Laune. Vom völlig verdreckten Spülmaschinensieb wollen wir lieber gar nicht reden. Schade!

This place is awesome, great location everything is super close. Favorite thing- it’s beautiful terrace ! Comfortable bed, beautiful living room enough space for 3 people. Definitely recommend and if I will have a chance to stay there are again I definitely will!!!

An für sich ein sehr schöne Wohnung in guter Lage. Leider sind einige Einrichtungsgegenstände etwas in die Jahre kommen und auch die Reinigung sollte sorgfältiger gemacht werden

Achterstallig onderhoud

Appartement ligt mooi centraal bij supermarkten, terrasjes en openbaarvervoer. Alleen wel achterstallig onderhoud zoals defecte lichtschakelaars, zonnescherm dat niet werkt, douchekop die niet past.

sehr gemütlich, gut ausgestattet und super Lage

Die Wohnung ist kleiner, als sie auf den Photos aussieht, aber auch noch viel wohnlicher! Alles ist sehr hell und freundlich, sehr ruhig. Die Terrasse mit Blick auf zwei Kirchtürme fanden wir besonders schön. Einige Kleinigkeiten waren nicht perfekt, aber wir haben uns ausgesprochen wohl gefühlt und können uns gut vorstellen, bei unserem nächsten Wien-Aufenthalt wieder dort zu wohnen. auch die Lage ist wirklich gut, nah zum Yppenplatz und zur U-Bahn. Der Vermieter war zuverlässig und hat Mails immer zügig beantwortet. Zusammenfassung: klasse!
