We had a lovely weekend away while visiting Floyd. The home was cozy, clean and the beds were amazing! Stocked with everything you would need, the table top grill was perfect for our dinners each night. We will definitely be back!!

Perfect. This was our anniversary trip. We look for quiet, private, natury, but not rustic or impossible to get to without a 4x4. This place feels like it’s in the middle of nowhere but it’s 10 minutes from town. The area is full of farms so on the way to the house you get to see every animal you can imagine including a handful of donkeys we visited with. We walked to the river and dam which was an easy 20 minutes but we could have driven in 2 minutes, depends on preference. The house itself felt brand new and feels like high luxury even though it’s on the side of a mountain. Polished concrete floors, high ceilings, lots of light and great sitting areas outside. We made a couple trips into the very small town center, did some shopping, ate, and walked around. It’s small-town living at its best. 10 minutes back to the house and we felt like we were the only ones on the planet. The host was responsive, check in was easy, check out was no-fuss. We’ll be back.
