the home is close enough for a walk or bike ride to Linn Runn State Park. Inside this humble abode you will find ample room and sleeping arrangements for up to 9. With 3 bedrooms 6 beds. full baths. The large spacious cottage style layout is inviting and tranquil. A must visit must see! Idlewild & Soak Zone 10 minutes by car. or head towards Living treasure Animal Park or Caddie shack in Donegal 15 minutes. Numerous options for food! Ligonier 3 miles away! 25 + local golf courses and only 20 minutes to Pittsburgh's Live Casino In Greensburg PA.

Country House

We came to Latrobe for our Mother’s funeral. This was the only place available that was big enough for five of us and that wouldAllow our two dogs. It was a little scetchy, spiders, a few bugs, squirrels in the attic. You cannot drink the tap water and the only way we knew that was a little sticky note on the fridge. Beds are not great. Shower in the main bedroom you could not see in, pitch dark. It is well water and is smelly when you shower. It is out in the country , so I guess that happens. It is very close to Lin Run State Park, which we enjoyed.

Family Ski Trip

The property is tucked away just down the road from Linn Run State Park. Adorable home with a lot of character. However, we were disappointed in the lack of cleanliness. The mattress was also one of the most uncomfortable beds I’ve slept on-literally had springs popping us in the back. There were towels left in the washing machine. We weren’t sure if they were clean or dirty? There was food left in the kitchen cabinet with expiration dates well over 10 years overdue. We lost power one night, I contacted the owner letting them know and still have yet to hear back from them. Would love to recommend this property, but they’d definitely need to get some things cleaned up especially for the price point they’re charging.

unfortunately not as advertised.

Positive- Fairy tale setting, deer played in the beautiful yard. House was spacious. Owner was very responsive when I had problems with the wifi, & gave us restaurant suggestions. Negative- 2 of the beds that were supposedly queen were NOT; they were full size. Actual bed sizes were: 3 twin, 2 double, 1 queen upstairs in room with 2 twin- but not certain- we didn’t measure that one). Downstairs beds were awfully noisy. House also smells very musty (like a long since abandoned building). there were 3 bedrooms, not 4. The listing states 4 but in the description, it says 3-so it isn’t clear. There was 1 room unavailable to us, that room was locked upon arrival.it was apparent that the owner does not check that other renters clean dishes- we found cups in the cabinet that were dirty, there was a half full container of old Kool-Aid in the fridge, & found some other utensils that had very old food residue stuck to them, there was more but this gives the general idea of the lack of cleanliness.master shower was too dark, to the point it was dangerous to use. The shower curtain blocked all light, & there was no light above the tub (that should be an easy fix for owner to remedy by replacing shower curtain). drinking water situation was inconvenient (can’t use tap water). After asking around, this is not unusual in the area. There were several jugs of water provided but we did have to get more after a few days- we wish that had been communicated before we arrived.
