A very comfortable and well-appointment suite in a quiet wooden area (a few houses around) within easy reach of the centre of Golden.It was great as a base to explore the area - nearby towns and the many National Park locations.

If you want a retreat in the mountains, this is your spot! Clean, surprisingly decent sized bedrooms, comfy beds, a little spot for a fire, and most important, the beautiful view! We only stayed a night while travelling between places but we would have stayed longer if we had the time. Would recommend!

Clean, comfortable and new, out of town with great views and well equipped kitchen (except we couldnt find any oven mitts)!

Beautiful, very well maintained property. Stunning views of the Columbia Valley and an easy 6 minute drive into Golden. We came with our 2.5 yr old daughter and the space was great for her too. Sheldon was a very gracious and helpful host and you can tell he really cares about his property. Lots of fun games in the unit and overall a wonderful experience here. We will absolutely stay here again next time we’re in Golden!

Comfortable getaway

Stayed for a couple of night’s in advance of our son’s wedding which was held locally. After having already spent 5 nights on the road mainly in hotel rooms it was a relief to relax in the comfort of the Tamarack Suite. It is handy to downtown and local attractions but feels like you are in the woods. Definitely recommend staying here!
