The house was clean and very nice. I had two issues. The main one is this is not the house that I reserved months in advance This was a fishing trip where we brought our boat and had reserved a house on the Creekside waterfront at Pawley’s Island. I rented the house well in advance and just six weeks before our stay the owner pulled the house for repairs, we were told. They did give us a substitute house, but it is right on noisy Highway 17 during bike week. And it was a couple of miles from the waterfront. So we had to trailer and put our boat in every time we wanted to fish instead of walking out to the dock and stepping into the boat. For the only purpose of our trip, it was a major inconvenience.I would not have rented the house they switched us to for the purpose of the trip.On our last night at 5:30 or so in the evening, we discovered our Code no longer worked and we could not get in the house. We were told it would be rectified in 20 minutes and more than two hours later we still have not heard from anyone. After another lengthy phone call someone finally went and gave us access to the house.It is very nice house and if someone is going down for the convenience of being on Highway 17 and close to dining shopping other activities, it would be a good house for them.I do not like leaving unfavorable reviews, but feel I had to be honest.
