About this property

You'll fit right into The Perfect Space (formerly Gresham), a calming oceanside retreat located in the heart of Nags Head that will allow you to leave the stress of everyday life behind.

When it's time to go to sleep, you'll find sleeping for 8 (king, twin bunks, 2 twins and a sleeper sofa). The upstairs loft also has a remote work area for anyone who is combining work with play.

Clear the house and head outside to one of two decks, complete with a picnic table and chairs. You'll hear the ocean waves from either deck - great spots for morning coffee or evening cocktails. Get swept away in the hot tub that awaits you in the evenings or set up the cornhole boards for a game. Underneath the house is a "pirate's retreat" next to the hot tub that provides another outdoor space to unwind after a day at the beach or sound. Dowdy Park, with a playground, basketball/pickleball courts and bocce, is just a few minutes walk and there is some equipment available for your use.

If it's beaches' sand you want then you have them! Give your worries to the sea after a short (5 minute) walk to the Bladen street beach access. Attractions such as the Nags Head Pier, Dowdy Park, and mini golf as well as restaurants (Lucky 12, Tortugas Lie, Red Drum, Surfin' Spoon, and the Spot) are also within walking distance. Other attractions like Jockey's Ridge are a short (5 minute) drive from the house.

Great stay at the Perfect Space!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Perfect Space was a great place for our family of 5! The walk to the beach was short, even with our kids 6 and under. The house is equipped with everything you could need and we especially enjoyed the 2 outdoor picnic benches for dinners outside. We would definitely stay again!

Summer Vacation

The location was perfect. We loved the short walk to the beach. The house was perfectly located. It had an outdoor shower to keep the sand away from the inside of the home. The hot tub was wonderful for the relaxing mornings and nights. We were in perfect distance of Jockey Ridge where our family loved the sand dunes, kite flying, and sunsets. We also ventured over to The Lost Colony play. We did take a day trip down to Ocracoke Island. We enjoyed the senic drive and simplicy just for the day. It was nice to be back at Nags Head though! The house had a beautiful living dining area where the family spent the majority of the time. The bedrooms upstairs were nice and quiet way from the lively teens up late. There were some games at the house we played together at meals. We made all our meals and never ate out once. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Anyone looking for a home not too far from the beach but also set back from the busy roads, I would recommend this home! The Perfect Place!
