This charming oceanside cottage features three spacious bedrooms and is beautifully decorated with bright and cheerful decor, making it the perfect choice for a small family or group of friends.

When you vacation at God s Gift, you ll find easy and direct access to the beach just 450 feet down the street. Known for its wide, pristine and unpopulated beaches, South Nags Head offers some of the best opportunities for surf-fishing and shelling on the entire Outer Banks. Spread out your beach blanket and spend the day basking in the sunshine, or grab a kayak , SUP or surfboard and venture out into the rolling waves for an afternoon at sea.

Wake up before the break of dawn and take a short stroll toward the shoreline to watch the sunrise out of the Atlantic Ocean as dolphins swim by in the surf. When you return to Gods Gift, have a seat on on the large front porch to soak up the sun and salty sea breezes while you sip your morning cup of coffee in total peace and tranquility. This Outer Banks vacation rental home also boasts a spacious sunroom just off the front porch.

Kids will enjoy spending time in the recreation room located on this homes lower level, which features a foosball table, ample seating and plenty of space for playing games. God s Gift is also conveniently located a few steps away from the wide walking path that runs along the oceanside of the island. This pedestrian-friendly path is perfect for those who want to get in their daily jog or go for a leisurely stroll in the neighborhood.

Love this Place!

This is our 3rd year staying at God’s Gift and we love it each time we visit. We have noticed different updates that Nancy has done to the home such as the new keurig coffee machine and moving the counter height chairs to the top of the crows nest deck. It’s a testament that Nancy is a great owner and takes pride in her beach house. If you want a cozy place to stay and a short walk to the beach, then this is your place! Home away from home!

Wonderful Place!

We had a pleasant stay at God's Gift even though the weather was not the greatest due to storm Debby passing through. In spite of the inclement weather, Nancy, our host, did everything she could to make us feel welcomed throughout our stay. We will definitely be back and highly recommend Nancy and her beautiful place to friends and family!

Perfect Outer Banks Vacation

We are absolutely thrilled with our experience staying at God's Gift in Nags Head. This house is adorably and thoughtfully decorated and very clean. There was plenty of space, beach items and many small conveniences that added to our experience and made the stay flawless. A HUGE added plus was the top level deck. We enjoyed sitting up there every night and listening to the sounds of Nags Head. Obviously the beach is RIGHT THERE and this was heaven :) We can't wait to return. We are also very grateful for the seamless communication with the owners.

Fabulous Rental!

We had a really great stay in this rental! It was just as shown in the pictures. The owner was so easy to work with. The whole process was great from start to finish. The house was so close to the beach and the crows nest provided beautiful views! We would definitely stay again!

God's Gift is an Understatement

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful home in Nags Head. The house was clean and the rooms were wonderfully accommodating. We used the outdoor shower the entire time as it was cozy and ample to feel the warm air and the sun on you whilst bathing. Two refrigerators were exactly what was needed during our stay and all the amenities in the kitchen were great.

Feels like Home

This was our 2nd year in a row staying here. Already planning on number 3,4,5,6 etc. I have stayed in a few different places in different areas. This without a doubt is just as comfortable as being at our real home. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place to anyone. The home owners feel like family. Very kind and caring. I won’t even confider staying anywhere else when visiting the area.

Absolute Gem

This property was one of the best my family has stayed at on the NC coast, ever! We are all local to NC so we have spent every summer somewhere on the beach. This trip included my wife, our three girls and my in-laws. There was more than enough room to accommodate all 7 comfortably. When we arrived the house was spotless and even smelled clean. One of the best stocked houses for the beach as well. Although we brought our own, there are boogie boards and plenty of sand toys, bikes, cookware and everything in between along with a very nice beach cart that made getting set up on the beach a one trip thing. The beach access was incredibly easy down the private street (my father-in-law has had a double knee replacement in the last year and did not struggle at all). The street it self is quiet and my girls loved riding the bike at the property around. The view from the crows nest is astounding of both the ocean and sound side. Don't fear having 5 or so houses inbetween you and the ocean, it feels like a beach front house. Being in the south of Nags Head the area is very quiet but is easy to get to the hustle and bustle of the town. Nancy was the best and so great to work with while renting, arriving and leaving. You can tell she feels blessed to share this gem with others. Thank you Nancy! We have found our new favorite place to go on our summer trips and will be back.

Wonderful Stay

We had a great stay in a well stocked cottage. The walk was an easy 100 yards to the beach. The road had no public parking allowed, so it remained clear of other tourists and the beach was not congested. Being in south Nags Head, the area is less crowded, but only a few miles away from restaurants and shops. The cottage was very comfortable, with items like dish detergent, paper towels, toilet paper, tissues, and extras. These items are often limited and I pack extras, but not needed this time. There were 6 bikes available, multiple beach chairs, umbrella, little kid beach toys, and a big wheeled cart for hauling everything to the beach. The basement has a separate frig, laundry room, additional sleeping beds, and a fun foosball table. Overall, I would certainly stay here again.

As described

Nice house in a beautiful location. This property was cleaned well, minus a few spots here and there, but overall very clean. This house isn't huge, but its not advertised to be. There were 5 of us and a few times we were looking for more couch room, but once again, we knew that coming in what there was. The crows nest and balconies were very nice, bicycles were a plus as well, though they are a little dated and chain had fallen off the childs bike, but it was a nice option to have. The location is very nice, extremely short walk to the beach. Overall this property was as described, and we had a great time. The host was great and very responsive!! Would definitely stay here again, hard to beat for a reasonably priced stay.

Cozy beach home with great access to the beach

This was our second year staying at God’s Gift and we felt like we were “home” again right when we pulled up. Nancy is such a friendly and responsive host and we really felt the thoughtfulness in the decor and amenity details. Easy driveway parking on this friendly and private street with direct beach access to the somewhat quieter part of the beach as this is in South Nags Head. The house has everything you need including a terrific outdoor shower and place to put your sandy toys, kitchen tools so you can cook with ease, big laundry room, and lots of bikes/beach wagon/toys to keep your family busy. Thanks again Nancy! We hope to return again next summer!

Family Friendly

We are a family of 4 (10-yr old boy & 6-yr old girl). The property was very well equipped with everything you would need for a fantastic vacation beach stay. The location is ideal within walking distance of the beach. And my personal favorite, the outdoor shower, is amazing after a long day on the beach. Its in a quiet neighborhood which was really nice for a family.

Everything you need!

Nancy is a grest owner that wants your vacation to be the best possible. Lots of extra amenities from bikes to beach cart and lots of household items. Air conditioner rocks too!

Home away from Home

We had a great first family vacation at God’s Gift. We immediately felt at home and the atmosphere had amazing vibes. The house was so clean with plenty of space and wonderfully decorated. The kitchen had everything we needed and more, plus the downstairs area had the beach essentials as well (umbrella, beach chairs, wagon, boards, cooler, beach bag). Having a laundry room downstairs and areas to clean and hang sandy items outside was also very helpful. The distance to the beach was so close and we enjoyed having private access to the beach. It felt like a tight knit family community. Nancy was very accommodating, extremely attentive and super friendly. We look forward to booking next year’s vacation at God’s Gift. Thank you!

Big Birthday celebration

We've been going down to South Nags Head for over 25 years. God's Gift is a wonderful cottage and the best place we've stayed in to date! It was spotless when we arrived. We were amazed at all the little touches and items available for us to use. Beach Chairs, bicyles, boogie boards, kites, cooler and beach buggy to bring our stuff to the beach! The Kitchen was well stocked with all the little applicances, utensils and even spices! Even toilet paper and paper towels were provided. We didn't need to bring half the stuff we had with us. It's a very short walk to the beach. The decking looked brand new and the crows next had nice chairs an stools to sit on to watch the sunset. Nancy responded to us immediately when we had questions. Even provided little welcoming gift for us. Staying a God's gift made my birthday even more special. Definitely will stay there next time we are down there.

“It felt like home.”

The week with family was wonderful! The house and property were very comfortable and the host(Nancy)could not have been more accommodating. Response time to any questions were answered almost within the hour if not immediately. Everyone definitely enjoyed the new deck additions and the “kids” enjoyed hanging out together downstairs. The proximity to the beach was a blessing when it came to setting up and breaking down. This home was a blessing to us all.

Great House Steps away from the Ocean

We had a great family vacation at this house. It was very clean, stocked with beach toys/chairs, and has direct, private access to the beach within a few hundred feet! Nancy is quick to respond with any questions and was a great host. We would highly recommend staying here when looking for a vacation house on the Outer Banks.

Wonderful host and cottage
