There are 2 designated side by side underground parking spaces, 24/7 doorman, workout room, multiple pools on beach for exclusive use of condo owners with hot tubs, adjacent eating area with immaculately maintained gas grills, multiple tennis courts, workout facility and clubhouse.

Recreation like playing/walking on the beach or biking or water sports are just an elevator ride away. The Hotel del Coronado is adjacent to Coronado Shores and the quaint downtown Coronado is a short walk away with its many unique shops and restaurants.

Wonderful experience

The view from the condo is beautiful of the Coronado Bay and skyline of San Diego. Walking distance to the town with many restaurants and shopping. Loved our visit.

Cozy and Comfortable

I enjoyed my stay. I loved the views! From the living room, kitchen and two of the bedrooms you can see the ocean, and the bay. The night views of the bay were fantastic! Everything is easily accessible, from the free transit or easy walk to the beach, pool and down town Orange St. The concierge and staff were helpful and very pleasant.

Pay attention to the view!

The condominium is perfectly appointed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The location to the beach and town is almost perfect. The amenities available are unmatched. The real gem which I didn't know to appreciate when booking is the view from the living room. Its a captivating and picturesque view of the bay and plenty of activity to entertain you while you relax indoors. The host did everything to make our stay easy and enjoyable.

Amazing view, awesome location, and excellent host

We stayed at this property for the month of March in 2024. We highly recommend this condo for many reasons. Let’s start with what another reviewer said, the view of the bay, including the bridge and downtown San Diego is mesmerizing. You can enjoy the sunrise, watch the activity in the bay (including what we thought were some Navy training exercises), and enjoy the gorgeous bay. From the kitchen and two of the bedrooms you can view the ocean. We have rented other places with amazing views, but this condo is also in excellent condition with superb hosts and the managers at the condo are also excellent. We have a friend who is a serious swimmer - he stayed with us a couple of days and said the lap pool near by was excellent. You can easily ride your bicycle to the strand or over to the Cornado ferry. You can walk on the ocean and go to the Hotel Del and down to the dog beach. The complex and facilities are excellent. We cooked quite a bit and had everything we needed. The layout of the condo is very comfortable for yourself, family, or friends. The parking spots in the garage are in a great location and are side by side - so plenty of room to park an SUV. We brought our bicycles and there is ample storage room for them in the garage spots. Dealing with Elaine is super easy and convenient. So many properties use management companies and sometimes the response isn’t what you need. Elaine responds quickly and answers all questions professionally and efficiently.

Beach living

We thoroughly enjoyed our month in Coronado. The Shores complex, with it’s great amenities, is the perfect place to enjoy the great weather and have the beach only steps away. We enjoyed time with our whole family and even watched from afar as our son got engaged on the beach. The apartment is comfortable and spacious for a group of up to 5 adults. All in all, there’s nowhere I’d rather spend the month of August.

Amazing Getaway Stay

We had an amazing stay at the condo. The views are spectacular, a wonderful view of the bay and also a bonus view of the beach and waves. The condo has been remodeled and has comfortable furnishing throughout. The kitchen is well stocked with new appliances. The bathrooms are nicely updated and a bonus steam shower in the master. There was plenty of space for our family of 4. It was very easy to connect with the owner for any questions that came up. We hope to make our stay an annual tradition!

Great Coronado Rental!

This apartment has been the perfect getaway for our family for the past 6 summers. The apartment is superbly situated in the Coronado Shores, is very well equipped and has an incomparable view! WONDERFUL Coronado Condo!

Our experience renting this condo at The Shores has been nothing short of FABULOUS! The condo is very roomy, has a very luxurious feel with all the amenities one could want. We have rented this condo several times as we have not found anything we like more. The views are spectacular of both downtown San Diego, the bay AND the ocean! The owners are very easy to work with, and they take very good care of the place. We have always found this condo to be very clean and everything in very good working order. Coronado is such a beautiful little "town" with one of the most beautiful beaches you'll find anywhere! It's a nice retreat from the bustle of San Diego, yet the access to an incredible amount of activities is within easy access from Coronado. This place is our favorite extended vacation spot!

Great Coronado Property!

My family and I have stayed at this property several times now and have always had a wonderful time. The condo is very roomy and comfortable in addition to being in a great location. The amenities are very good with room darkening blinds and a contemporary kitchen. There are multiple pools available for use as well as the beach within a short walking distance. The views from the condo are absolutely spectacular! We hope to stay at this property again soon.

We have come to Coronado vacationing for over 35 years. We have been owners here for over 25 years. I am a retired ophthalmologist and my husband is a retired veterinarian from Colorado.

Why they chose this property

There is so much to do besides the beach and Coronado itself. San Diego is just over the bridge, Sea World is nearby and the famous San Diego Zoo is easily visited in Balboa Park. Also there is Sea World, LEGO land, Wild Animal Park, Birch Aquarium at Scripps and Disneyland (which is about an hour away).

USS Midway aircraft carrier and multiple boats that can be toured in San Diego harbor. Shopping at Horton's Plaza downtown or at Fashion Valley is a short drive from Coronado as is the very large Las Americas Premium Outlet mall on the border to Mexico.

What makes this property unique

Being situated between a bay and beach gives you endless possibilities. Sailing under the bridge, building sandcastles on the beach, having a sunset dinner at an umbrella-covered table overlooking the beach.

Walk next door to the Hotel del Coronado and have a drink by a firepit, ice skate at Xmas, watch a wedding on the beach.

Look to the south and see the Navy Seals training in boats off-shore or jogging by on the beach.
