Great location

Great location and big enough for 4 people. Could use a little upkeep, shower hose in one bathroom split so not usable, bathroom floors a little dirty (as well as the carpets). Lights in master bedroom consisted of the light from a ceiling fan and a shadeless light bulb in a floor lamp. Opened containers of protein powders in cabinet as well as half used ice tea in the fridge. Gas station a few blocks away for coffee since there is not coffee pot in unit. The unit worked for the trip, but would not stay at again.

Issues

Although this location was perfect for being able to walk everywhere we wanted to go, accommodations were less than desirable. There was one tv downstairs, but remote needed to be charged, and no charging cable provided. Downstairs bathroom had no towel to dry your hands. No coffeemaker, and microwave door inside was covered in splatters. Smoke detector on ceiling next to kitchen was stripped as if it used to be there but is now missing. The smoke detectors upstairs did not have green lights indicating they may not be working. Washing machine did not drain properly. All carpet was overly worn and thin, & walls were scuffed. Possibly both the carpet and paint job were original to the building 20+ years ago. No pillows on the master bed. There were no mattress pads on either bed nor top sheets, just a thin fitted sheet covering the mattress. Ceiling fan blades were covered in dust. Blinds in master bedroom had broken handle and could not be turned. There was a curtain rod but no curtain. Neither bedroom closet had any hangers. Bath towels and face cloths looked to be terribly worn and used and what looked to be possibly ink or other stains on them. No bath mat for the second shower room. Bathroom mirrors had cloudy film on them possibly indicating they had seen wiped with inappropriate chemical. Master shower handle was finicky not able to get good temperature. Other shower faucet was cracked, leaking & sprayed everywhere. Only positive was timely response time from host.

Amazing!

It’s such a perfect location to CLT uptown or south end. It was a little difficult to locate at first but they are so friendly and welcoming and made the stay great. Good communication as well. Perfect space for small or medium size groups. I would def stay here again!
