Great house and very convenient location. Easy to get to all Asheville’s attractions from a quiet and serene property. Saw a mother bear and 3 cubs just outside the window on our first day! Photos of the house are accurate. Very clean. Host is extremely responsive!
We had such an amazing time. It is a very neat cabin. Woke up to a family of bears walking outside the bedroom window on our final day! it was a great experience.
Everything was perfect!! Starting from the beginning, the communication was prompt and thorough. Once we arrived, walking through the doors felt like home. The place was clean with a touch of personalization for us. A handwritten note, balloons and yummy treats for us and our fur babies were nicely displayed. The location of the tiny house was also perfect. Nestled deep in the woods gave enough privacy to enjoy the open windows. We will definitely stay here again!
Very cool, super clean and comfy!!! So close to all that Asheville has to offer, and yet you’re far enough into the woods that you feel a real sense of having gotten away from it all. The hosts could not have been nicer or more responsive. And the place is well-provisioned with everything you'll need to enjoy your stay, right down to the delicious cheesecake left for us in the retro mini-fridge… And yes, we needed that too!! Would book again for sure!! Oh, I’ll say it one more time…. SUPER CLEAN!
DARK but PERFECT - I'm a city girl so of course being in the woods is a challenge. I would do it all over again. VERY DARK HEAVILY WOODED area....as it should be. I was not ready for it but I got use to the darkness and loved every minute of it. There was 2 adult mother/daughter occupants. Perfect size for us 2. Would not recommend for anyone bringing kids. CAREFUL of the poison ivy which tends to grow over into the walking path...nothing w could not manage with caution.OUTDOOR TUBS are great - but we were only really able to fill one as hot water should be used sparingly. There was not enough warm water to fill the 2nd tub. I did enjoy it - my daughter of 28 yo not so much since there was not enough water.LOVE the firepit, perfect and cozy with seating for 4 if you invite someone over.Drive slow - it is uphill on a 1 lane road.BEARS - thought it wouldn't happen but we sure did see one - on our first day. I must say a beautiful creature and so happy for the experience.BED - wow, no clue who the maker is of this mattress / heaven on earth.....The bed is located up top on the loft which is where the tubs are. One way up and that is the narrow ladder. If you like a little adventure and out of the norm living - THIS PLACE IS PERFECT!!!!I come to Asheville - 4 times a year and have never stayed in any wooded area or this remote........ABSOLUTELY will do it again........WE HAD A WONDERFUL TIME!!!
Beautiful place, cozy and relaxing. The upstairs bed is like sleeping on a cloud. Very quiet and you can hear a waterfall in the background. The hot water system is very tricky with showering as it would go from extremely hot to freezing cold then back to hot. Not complaining as that was just a minor issue. The home is beautiful and isn’t to far from all that Asheville has to offer.
