Welcome to our brand new 3 bedroom 2 bath home located in Calloway County, Kentucky, right on stunning Kentucky Lake! This short-term rental offers the perfect getaway for families, friends, and fishermen. With a public boat ramp located only 1 mile away it makes it an ideal location for your next trip.

As you step into the home, you'll be greeted by a spacious and modern interior. The master bedroom boasts a luxurious king-sized bed with an en-suite bathroom, providing the ultimate comfort and convenience. The second guest bedroom features a cozy queen-sized bed and the third guest bedroom offers full over full bunk beds, perfect for accommodating larger groups or children. All bedside tables are equipped with charging stations for all of your electronic devices.

With two living spaces, there's plenty of room for everyone to relax and unwind. Kick back and enjoy your favorite shows on the 70” flat screen TV in the living room or enjoy the other TVs located in the master bedroom and bunk room.

But the true highlight of this rental is the outdoor patio. Step outside onto the brand new deck and take in the breathtaking views of the lake. Whether you're grilling up a delicious meal on the propane grill, sitting at the table enjoying a drink, or watching the TV under the covered portion of the deck, the patio is the perfect spot to soak up the serene lake scenery.

After stepping out the back door onto the patio, you can easily walk down to the vast lawn and enjoy plenty of room for any outdoor activities. The large yard meets up to the waterfront where you can walk along the shoreline, find shells, and enjoy the breeze. There is also a large parking area for truck and trailer parking.

The property is as beautiful as it is in the pictures! The place had everything we needed and was very clean and well kept!! The back deck was the perfect place ro start the day wirh coffee ans it was an easy walk to the lake! The owners were responsive and easy to work with. We brought our boat with us, there's a public dock within a mile, and the dock was perfect. We will definitely be staying again!!

Kentucky Lake House

This house was absolutely incredible, so beautiful right on the lake with and amazing yard my kids had so much fun playing and running around. The house is fully stocked with everything you would need for cooking food for a weeks stay. The pictures on the listing are exactly how the house looks. Furniture is so comfortable it really felt like home. Ben was so easy to get in touch with if we needed anything. Overall 100/10 would recommend staying here!

Great place!

This was truly a home away from home, with a much better view! House was super clean, had everything we needed (just bought aluminum foil and left it there- it may have been in a drawer somewhere but I didn’t see any). Beautiful peaceful property. We saw hummingbirds, geese, a couple eagles, a couple baby raccoons down by the lake. Kids loved fishing, swimming, relaxing. Hope to stay there again!

New build on Kentucky Lake

We had a great 3-day weekend at this house. It is immaculate inside and has an amazing covered back deck with views of the lake. The large gently sloping yard made access to the lake easy. The owner met us when we arrived to show us around the house and answer any questions. He was also quick to respond when we messaged him and checked on us after a line of thunderstorms came through the area.

Relaxing Getaway

Wonderful, absolutely wonderful. The best VRBO we have stayed in. The house was clean and very comfortable; so relaxing. Needed a break from everyday life stresses and that's exactly what we got. Sitting out on the deck looking out on the lake with a slight breeze was heaven. Ben and Shelby came by with no hesitation to show us "old foggies" how to use the TV. Very nice couple, enjoyed meeting them. Would definitely come back again.

Ben and his wife did it right. Beautiful house on a lake with a dock. There are so many things that they thought of to make our stay enjoyable. TV on the deck, furniture and bedding that were so comfortable. New appliances throughout. I could go on but the list would be too long. The host made sure we had everything we needed. We are coming back every year.

Family fishing trip

This house was perfect! Stocked with everything you need for a great trip! The walk to the lake is just a gentle slope downhill. The dock is massive and we caught many fish just off the dock. The lake was great for fishing even though it was 90 degrees ; you just have to get up early! The kitchen had plenty of dishes to prepare meals. The house had plenty of towels, blankets, beach towels, and pillows; no need to bring extras. The back porch was very nice although we didn’t use it that much because it was so hot but it’ll be great when it’s cooler out! The owner responds to questions very quickly and was very helpful before and during our stay! The beds were all very comfy! There’s plenty of parking for several cars and your boat! We would definitely stay here again!

Ben grew up in Louisville, Kentucky and Shelby grew up around Lafayette, Indiana. They met when they both moved to Murray, Kentucky to attend Murray State University many years ago when they joined the Murray State Bass Fishing Team. Their mutual love of the great outdoors brought them together and they always dreamed of having a peaceful house on Kentucky Lake. Ben and Shelby enjoy hosting for the opportunity to offer memorable experiences for guests to take full advantage of all that Kentucky Lake has to offer, while providing a welcoming and comfortable environment where guests feel valued and at home during their stay.

Why they chose this property

Lakeshore Drive is a quiet, peaceful road that runs along Kentucky Lake. The community is welcoming and close knit. The location is relatively rural, but easily accessible from Murray, Kentucky by taking 121 S to State Highway 444. A Dollar General and Kentucky Lake Glamping are located close to the house, adding convenience for anything you may have forgotten.

What makes this property unique

This property is unique due to the outdoor patio and large gradual sloping backyard that meets Kentucky Lake, which provides ample green space for kids to run around in a safe environment. Guests can easily walk along the shoreline of the main lake and find all kinds of interesting shells and rocks. There is also an extremely large parking area, which many lakefront homes do not have, allowing for truck and trailer parking.

Inside the home, there are unique decor touches and antique design elements catered to the life of Kentucky Lake. Each bedroom has a lake centric theme from bass fishing, canoe paddles, and local duck species. There is photography throughout the home with images taken in the Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area, Kentucky Lake, and Barkley Lake. The living areas consist of numerous windows to take in all the wonderful views of the lake.
