✓ Noise monitors on site
(A Minut noise monitoring device is installed outdoors. It measures noise levels (decibel thresholds only). It does not record or transmit audio, and it does not capture conversations. The monitor is solely for guest safety, comfort, and community compliance).
✓ Outdoor cameras on site
(For security purposes only, this property has three exterior-facing surveillance devices: one camera is mounted by front door capturing the front entrance, one is located above the front porch with visibility over the driveway, another is positioned in the back patio area oriented generally toward the backyard. These devices are not intended for monitoring of personal/private guest use and are installed solely for perimeter safety and property protection. All devices are installed outdoors, are capable of recording audio and video, and there are no cameras located inside the property or in any interior or private-use spaces.)

The Neighborhood:
The Prestigious Touro neighborhood features large homes, including well-maintained antebellum mansions with beautiful flower gardens and landscaping. The properties in Touro are predominantly upscale and the area is recognized as one of the best places to stay in Louisiana. It offers an urban-suburban mix and a diverse population where you can enjoy access to a variety of bars, restaurants, coffee shops, and parks.

Other Things to Note:
The Amelia's strategic location sets the stage for an unforgettable New Orleans adventure. At just a stone's throw away, iconic attractions beam with life. You'll be staying steps away from the alluring Magazine St., the historic Garden District, and Lafayette Cemetery No.1. Catch an RTA Streetcar to traverse the city in style or wander into the French Quarter for an immersive cultural experience.
As we head into Spring, there's no better time to experience the blooming Southern charm of New Orleans. Celebrate life at world-renowned festivals such as Jazz Fest, and enjoy the Easter Parade on Bourbon Street. Head to French Quarter Festival, or take part in the Memorial Day Weekend events. Come Juneteenth, commemorate the day at several cultural venues in the city. As Independence Day nears, the Mississippi River lights up with fireworks, making for a thrilling spectacle.
Our property is conveniently located near some of the best bars and restaurants in NOLA. NOLA Distillery, the Pigeon & Whale, and The Vintage come highly recommended for a good time with friends, while dining delights await you at our favorite spots, Shaya and Lilette, among others.
Additionally, this property remains ideal for multi-family gatherings who desire added privacy since it hosts two independent units. Rules prohibit smoking, pets, and parties/events. Moreover, we enforce quiet hours from 10 pm to 8 am, out of respect for the peaceful neighborhood. Security measures include on-site cameras, an alarm system, and outdoor motion sensor lights.
Experience the Big Easy in a big way at The Amelia, where every day feels like Mardi Gras!
