Bryan was very accommodating and went out of his way to help us after I made a mistake with booking. The house was clean and cozy, I loved looking out the windows at night. Nearby hiking at Cooper’s Rick was amazing too!

We had a great stay at the Escape Pod! Plenty of room for our family of five. We had our groceries delivered, the kitchen was fully stocked with all of the things we needed to make breakfast, lunch and dinner! Great views, super quiet and very clean.

Long weekend at Cheat Lake

Stayed at the Escape Pod while helping our son move into his apartment in Morgantown. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay! The pod is such a unique, fun place to stay. Loved the attention to detail throughout. Comfy beds, great kitchen, lots of outdoor seating. The hot tub is a great extra. Will definitely stay again!

Amazing little place

Unique "tiny house" like listing, plenty of space for couples though. Clean. Stocked for cooking. Great views of the lake. Nice hot tub too!

Quaint place to stay

It was a nice getaway for our 35th anniversary and the pod was very unique. A privacy wall for hot tub area from the busy road would be a nice addition. Other than the poor condition of the road leading to the property, everything was great!

Wonderful stay at the Escape Pod

Everything at the Escape Pod was just as listed. The property was clean and well stocked. The hot tub was a nice way to warm up after a cold day watching a Mountaineer win.

This was a fun and unique place to stay at. It was all on one floor primarily so there wasn't a need to climb the spiral staircase, thankfully. The hot tub was perfect and the beds were comfy.

Ladies weekend

Amazing property in the morgantown/cheat lake area. Its well kept, has great amenities like a hot tub and close to the lake, Coopers rock park and great restaurants. The owner was responsive whenever we had issues. It was a perfect getaway for the all girls weekend I organized for my friends. Can't recommend it enough!

OUTSTANDING!

Great home with walls of windows and a 180° unobstructed view from the 2nd floor! The natural setting of the property in a quiet wooded setting was very peaceful and relaxing! The professional landscaping was perfect! Amenities galore. Wished we could have stayed longer. The host was very responsive and accommodating.

Perfect Escape

I loved the Escape Pod. It was a bright clean, unique space. I love the design of the house. It was perfect for a weekend away. There were cool features, such as the island drawer fridge and freezer and the fabulous spiral staircase. We had snow one day which made for a fantastic view out over the lake. The hot tub was great and one of the features we were looking for in a weekend rental. All in all a very cool space which was the perfect setting for a wonderful weekend.
