It truly felt like a home away from home. Thank you for being such a wonderful host and making the experience so easy and welcoming. I really appreciated everything!
Clean and well kept, and exactly as described. Perfect for anyone looking for a bit more privacy and space, but also very close to the Broadmoor. Great communication from host Paula; a pleasure to deal well. Recommended!

Cute property, but challenges
The house itself is nice. A good size for a couple or small family. The backyard was really nice, especially for those traveling with dogs, as we were. House is in an area that's 5-7 degrees cooler than just outside the neighborhood, which is helpful since there's no AC. We just happened to be there when it was pretty warm - 90+ every day.
There were deer sometimes just in front of the property. Short uphill walk to the Broadmoor area, which was nice to walk along with the dogs. We even saw a mama bear with two cubs! (fortunately, we were in the car)
Some of the challenges...
- very, very limited in cooking supplies (no bakeware, one frying pan, one pot, two forks - so we had to do dishes every day)
- no backyard patio furniture
- the house wasn't super clean when we got there - kids toys under the couch, used tissue on a chair, lipgloss in a bed
- the host did not tell us that people would be coming on to the property, so it was a little unnerving when someone just walked into the backyard (to check the hot tub) then a second time and person to do yard work. Fortunately we were inside w the dogs. They just opened the gate without checking with us.
Other little things, but the kicker was that a week after we left, host messaged asking if I had taken a blanket. I told her we'd put all the bed linens in the wash. She wrote back, said they found the blanket in a closet & that it was dirty. We washed all the other linens but she thinks left that? No. It was left from before
Wife loves walking and deer. She experienced both on this trip. Super, tree-shaded location. Quiet except for the babbling brook out back. Comfortable inside and very, very clean. Manager Paula responds quickly to messages, is close by.
Recommend bring an extension cord maybe multi-plug since the furniture is in the center of the room and laptop/computer cables don’t quite reach to the wall. We’ve seen this before in rentals.
Excellent stay.
This place was perfect for our CO Springs get away. Very clean and well appointed. The rooms are very large, and the kitchen had everything we needed. It's tucked away in a nice quiet neighborhood that's a short drive to some of the best attractions in the area. We enjoyed sitting outside in the evening and relaxing to the sound of the stream that runs near the property.
Great property in a great location. Nestled beside the Cheyenne Creek with sounds of the creek and wildlife right outside the door. The house was in a perfect location to access all of the surrounding landmarks and activities and was such a quaint property. I felt right at home during my stay and wished it could have lasted longer.
