Location just can’t be beat. You are very near hiking destinations, areas of interest, great restaurants and quant shopping. It snowed the day before and day we arrived which really added to the experience. There was no snow at the place we stayed but at some locations we visited. The neighborhood is very quiet - which was nice. There is a terrific hiking trailhead within walking distance that can accommodate all fitness levels. If Manitou Springs and Colorado Springs are places you are looking to visit this is a great house to make your stay at.

Thank you, Donna! We’re so glad you enjoyed the location, peaceful neighborhood, and nearby trails—it really is a great spot for exploring the area. Sounds like you had a beautiful mix of weather for your trip as well! It was a pleasure hosting you, and we’d love to welcome you back anytime.
The home was very nice but drafty. We were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary. Beds were comfortable! Couch was ok. Hot tub was PERFECT. Back yard and views were nice. Driveway was very challenging, especially in the snow.

Hi, thank you so much for the 10/10 review! We’re glad the home worked well for you and that you had a great stay. We truly appreciate your choosing to stay with us and would be happy to host you again anytime. Safe travels!
I would give the communication more than 5 stars if possible. They were quick to answer calls emails and even texted back and forth. Property was more stocked with essentials than any other I’ve rented. Beds were extremely comfortable. Check in and check out was very easy. Location was amazing with Red Rocks canyon an 3 minute walk and Garden of the Gods a stones throw across the road. Hot tub a huge plus. Thanks so much and will be booking again

Thank you for your kind review! We’re so glad you enjoyed the space 😊 We’d love to host you again anytime!
Great location, everything we came to do was within a 10-15 minute drive (cog railway, garden of gods, red rock open space). Kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals, just had groceries delivered. Plenty of towels and pillows. Hot tub was amazing. Beware the driveway is steep and this is a pet friendly property so there was a good share of dog hair throughout the home.
Stayed here with family as we were attending the pikes peak hill climb. The location was perfect just a few short miles from the entrance to pikes peak. The house was perfect for the four of us. My only regret was that we didn’t stay long enough to enjoy the hot tub.
Perfect mountain getaway for the family. Location was very convenient for what we wanted to do. Not in a big city but has quick and easy access with tons to do. Place was super clean and the hosts were responsive and kept you informed throughout the entire process.
The house was immaculate. It maintains a "cabin in the mountains" feel while still being close to enough activities to keep you busy without having to spend all your time driving. Everything we wanted to do was less than 20 monutes away. Would definitely recommend.
Loved that it wasn’t within the city but not a long drive from Colorado/Manitou Springs. Pretty good privacy and quiet neighborhood. Backyard was fenced for the dog, not much grass but it was enough for what we needed. Had plenty of kitchen utensils/cookware. Only issue we had was a burnt out living room light bulb and front door lock battery died but they had extra batteries available. Overall was a great stay!

Sparkling hot tub, mass produced rental
The home was very clean and the hot tub was pristine. We had a wonderful time relaxing. Communication with the host (a rental company, not an individual owner) could have been better — we had trouble getting timely responses to questions before our stay, and check-in instructions didn’t arrive until after the scheduled time, leaving us waiting on the deck for about 45 minutes. It’s a charming home, though it’s clearly managed solely as a short-term rental. While we enjoyed our visit, it’s a little disheartening to see homes like this taken out of the local housing market by commercial operators, especially in areas where housing is already tight.
We had a very nice time at this property. The hot tub was relaxing and especially nice after my husband and daughter climbed the Manitou Incline! The towels were nice and fluffy. Having a fenced-in area was helpful in keeping track of our two pups. Just a warning to future guests: The stairs to the upstairs bedroom are very steep. Be careful! The washer/dryer as hidden in a storage room. We discovered it at the end of our stay. We should have asked about it earlier. Overall, the location was great and the cabin was nice.
House was very clean. Pictures did not do the driveway justice, it was steep. Upon arrival the entry code was incorrect and the storm door was broken. Luckily someone answered the phone and was able to assist quickly. Once inside we were hit with the strongest smell of fabreeze/ air freshener that I have ever experienced. It was overwhelming but we were able to air the house out after a couple hours. Our stay got better after our poor first impression. Kitchen had most everything you need for cooking. Hot tub and grill were nice and both worked. The main bedroom was nice and clean. Other than the annoying hiccups we had this would be a good place for a family or group of friends for a close stay to manitou springs.
Hi my name is Lloyd and thanks for considering one of our properties for your travel needs! I started out in the vacation rental business years ago, traveling with my wife across the US and other countries. We have always preferred the coziness and feel of being home over a hotel room.
This led us to convert our personal rentals into short term rentals and then shortly after our company nestago was born! We enjoy the fact that we are able to assist people from all over the world with their vacations, reunions and so much more. Creating memories is such an important part of life and we are honored to be a part of that!
Please enjoy your 5 star stay with us and please don't hesitate to ask us anything!
