Ocean and garden view 2Br 2Ba condo across from Poipu Beach in Kauai, Hawaii. Some of the best and safest swimming, snorkeling, surfing, and boogie boarding on the island. Restaurants and shopping within walking distance.

This is unit #809 in the #8 building . You will have a fully furnished kitchen, cable TV, wireless internet, washer/dryer, twin beds in second bedroom (can convert to king).

Air conditioning throughout. You will also have an oceanside swimming pool, and tennis/pickle ball court and two bar-b-que areas. Beach towels, umbrellas, cooler, and chairs are provided.

Each bedroom has its own lanai, bathroom, and lanai. This condo is fully furnished and has beautiful island decor.

What really makes this beautiful condo stand out is its ease of access. Located at the top of the hill, simply drive up, park, walk down 4 steps, go to the door and step in. Most condos use parking lots away from the units and require a flight of stairs to get the same ocean view! Also, this is a single level unit -no up and down stairs to beds or bath!

You are a very short beautiful walk to the pool, tennis courts, bar-b-que area, and turtle watching in the ocean!

You can search for '809 Nihi Kai' on YouTube and also find a beautiful sunset video from our lanai, and also view a tour of the gardens as you walk from our door to the beach..

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this condo. We stayed in this same complex a couple years ago and this unit was a much better fit. Having everything on one floor was so much better. The view from the Lanai was spectacular and since I got the flu the second day in Kauai, laying in the sun on the Lanai was just what the doctor ordered. I will definitely book this unit again.

We loved the condo and the location! The contact and owner were very responsive when I let them know the air conditioner was making noise and had someone come to repair it the same day. Loved being able to walk through the beautiful complex down to the beach. The only negative was trying to find the unit the first night in the dark because the iPhone navigation says “arrived” when you are nowhere near building 8 and in the dark you can’t tell where you are or see any building numbers.

Very spacious condo in pretty, quiet complex a few blocks walk from beaches. Bit of a hill to get back! Nice view, a little dated inside but everything you need. However, a new coffeemaker, clock and a spray of WD-40 on the patio door would be useful! Wish we could have stayed longer.

Our stay was beautiful, the Condo was clean and the view and surroundings including the pool quite lovely, fabulous really. The fans and windows kept the air comfortable. It was quiet and very well kept. Had a bit of trouble with the shower knob as it was hard to push in and out. This did not interfere with our impression of our stay. Especially the convenience of the parking. We had a wonderful stay.

What makes this property unique

Park next to your condo, four steps down to your front door!

Awesome gardens at Nihi Kai. Most other locations have little or no gardens.

Less than 10 minute walk to Brenneke's -ocean view dining/bar/happy hour as good as any on the island. Located across the road from Poipu Beach Park.

Harley or scooter rentals for a great island tour.

Golf at two courses located 5 minutes away. Or take a 20minute drive and golf ALL DAY LONG for $10/day!!! (with beautiful ocean and mountain views.

Morning walks to Starbucks in the Poipu Shopping Village as you stroll the beach and gardens of resorts.

Take the pedestrian walkway to the Hyatt Resort (the best resort on the island in my opinion) for nightly shows or dining.

Poipu Beach ranked #1 beach in the world by some travel guides. Nice baby beach for safe swimming and snorkeling. Plus a locals and tourist favorite boogie board beach is 5 minutes from your door.

Some of the best turtle and whale watching on the island straight down on the beach.

Very nice on-location pool located just across the road from the ocean.
