About the host
Hosted by Jenny
I'm from BC and have lived in Vancouver for over 20 years. I love living in Vancouver and really enjoy allowing travellers to access Vancouver from a more local perspective. When I travlel, I prefer to stay in other people's homes so I can pretend I live there and imagine what it would be like to live in that neighbourhood and city. Travel is so fun!
Why they chose this property
Chinatown is my favourite neighbourhood in Vancouver with incredible food, lounges, and an amazing mix of young entrepreneurs and multigenerational business that have existed forever.
What makes this property unique
Cozy and feminine representation of the eclectic vibes in Chinatown. The apartment itself is a beautiful mix of concrete, glass, and cabinetry, which can often feel cold and like a gallery. I've chosen to decorate with bright colours and textures to warm up the space and make it feel like an oasis where you can happily recharge. All of the art is by local artists, much of the antiques are from local stores and from my family collection.
