I would agree that location is one of the most important characteristics to consider when looking for vacation properties. The KeyHole offers a healthy, clean, uncrowded large beach area. The water depth is conducive to riding the waves and good fishing. We don't get through traffic from houses behind us, because the public walkways are not close. We actually have one of the few locations that is not having to deal with erosion... very active dune growth! We thank you for choosing to come back next year. That makes your family official "KeyHolers"!! We love our repeat renters, because you take such good care of her. Until next summer, Elliott Powell

Since your relative stayed a few weeks before you and was unable to get her review in… Here it is: Good morning, Elliott. As I expected, my brother-in-law, sister-in-law, grown kids, and grandkids loved KeyHole. Larry is posting his review soon, and I am sending him my review to add to his. Here is my review: FIVE STARS++ Collectively, I have been going to Pawleys Island/ Litchfield Beach with family and friends for nearly 50 years. So I have rented many different homes for our week-long stays. I LUCKED upon finding KeyHole when I had to find different accommodations from our previous rental for my family because of the happy addition of another grandchild. From the description, KeyHole sounded like exactly what we needed. Enough space for my two grown sons, their wives, their children(3), and my husband and me. The older, yet BEAUTIFUL house was PERFECT for our needs! Spacious, clean, and comfortable. Kitchen is well-equipped; it has everything anyone could possibly need! Beds are comfortable. Linens are plentiful. Tons of parking space. Our favorite spot was the porch that overlooks the beach. And the beach! BEAUTIFUL!! The location of KeyHole is on my favorite part of Litchfield Beach. Family friendly and never crowded. Everyone, including the sometimes hard-to-impress members, exclaimed throughout our week's stay that KeyHole is the BEST place we have ever stayed! The host stayed in contact with me throughout our week, checking to make sure that we were having no problems. I appreciated his attentiveness and thoughtfulness. We LOVE KeyHole and are hoping for many more years of staying there for our annual week at the beach! Ellen Jones
