Thank you, Jacob! We're thrilled you enjoyed your stay and found everything you needed. Your feedback means a lot to us, and we can't wait to welcome you back for another great experience!
The property is a lovely old town house with loads of characture. Well situated for getting to places to see and do. Almost everything is in walking distance from the property.
We had a fabulous stay. Really clean place and beds were so so comfortable. Would recommend a stay here.
This place was absolutely beautiful, clean, comfortable and extremely convenient to the city center and the convention center. We were in town for my son's college graduation and it was perfect for our family of four. The original architectural details restored and original were appreciated and added a ton of character. The kitchen was well appointed and the bathroom was quite charming. We would definitely stay here again!
Nice beds and updated kitchen. Only thing this place needs is blackout curtains. No laundry was not ideal but there is a nice Laundromat down the street. Can't beat it for price.

Not great
Probably would’ve been great but the beds and linens hadn’t been changed from the previous guests. The owner immediately offered for us to stay at another location or do a complete refund—we chose the refund. Great communication. Great location.

Good Location w/Issues
The location is excellent and the townhome is charming! The valves to the tub/shower leaked about a half gallon anytime my husband or I used the shower. The tub kept draining as I tried to use it and the sink handles kept twisting around. The home is also either drafty or stifling. My husband and I did fine, but there were problems that should’ve been addressed prior to us staying there.

I absolutely loved this house for our little weekend get away. At first the parking was a little unlcear since its just an empty lot, but we got clarification from the property manager parking is right beside the house. Which is great since alot of places i looked at had street parking. Its super close everything, I'm sure it's walkable but we drove everywhere. There's a super cute little coffee shop right down the street, and a bar around the corner. A couple thing we had an issue with was the noise, it's not like a super noisey area, but if you're sleeping the room closest to road you definitely hear the traffic in the morning. The other thing, the location (area) around the house seemed a little scetchy-ish, but that could be because I'm not from that area and everything was new to me. Other than that we had an absolutely wonderful time in the house and we'd love to come back to Pittsburgh and stay in this house again!

Thank you so much for your kind words! We're thrilled to hear you loved the house and had a great weekend getaway. We're glad the parking clarification helped and that you enjoyed the nearby spots — that coffee shop is one of our favorites too! We appreciate your feedback on the road noise and your honest impression of the area. We're happy you had a wonderful stay overall and would love to welcome you back anytime you're in Pittsburgh!

Not satisfied
The location was great, walking distance to a lot of things I like. The house itself was nice but dirty, needed a good cleaning and trash needed to be thrown out. Bath tub leaked in two places, I fixed one leak on my own expense, the other required something I couldn't do. The toilet often overflowed. The internet went out half way throw are visit and even though the owner was made aware, it was not repaired. Also it was hot in the house and every time we turned the heat down it went right back up to the preset temperature.

Could be better
Showed up and the first thing that happens is the door knob falls apart. We fix that. Then Saturday morning the shower has no hot water! We come to find out the hot water was shut off we turn it on and it sprays water everywhere. So I'm assuming they knew it leaked and just expected us to get ice cold showers. So we go and buy a wrench to fix that up. Then we realize the bottom of the fridge has mold along the door seal.and the floors were far from clean too. Other. Than that the location is good for walking to everything. But dont expect a perfect place or for the owner to respond to your vrbo messages
I'm Pittsburgh born and raised! Even went to college here. Along with being a host, my full time job is in sales in downtown Pittsburgh. I've always loved houses and have turned that hobby into being a VRBO host. I have 5 properties, all located in the North Side neighborhood in Pittsburgh. I used to live in one of them myself and then converted it into a VRBO property. I love welcoming guests to the best city :)
Why they chose this property
I used to live here in my early 20s with my friends and thought it was such a cool neighborhood in Pittsburgh. There's a huge park a few blocks away. It's also very accessible to Heinz Stadium and PNC Park for NFL and MLB games. Go Steelers! Also a few blocks away from the hospital and we welcome traveling nurses and families visiting the hospital with open arms.
What makes this property unique
This is an original Pittsburgh home and we, along with previous owners, have upheld the awesome historical charm. We also know how important parking is in the city so we offer a huge private parking lot for all of our guests.
