South Side Flats Pittsburgh

Loved the house. Interesting neighborhood. Close to the venues we came to Pittsburgh for. Owner responded to our questions in a timely manner. Would definitely stay again.

Worked well for out needs

The place was clean and well decorated. Check in was easy. Street parking was tricky, especially late on the evening.

The house was great. Very well stocked. We traveled with our dog and toddler and it was a nice little house. The only hard part is parking. Being a college town, it can be a bit hard to find parking at certain times. Other than that it was great!

I had a small problem with the lock but it was resolved easily. Outside there was weed and grass growing out of the steps. When entering the home it smelled moldy and not clean. Up stairs rooms stayed warm no cool air.
Under the a long pole stuck out from under the bed. Scrapped my leg on it.
The bed was not comfortable.

Walk to Primanti's or Fathead's

Property as described, Bed was very comfortable. Nick was very responsive. It's hard to find a place that will allow dogs over 100 pounds so we were happy to find this spot. It has a fenced backyard and a deck on the second level so our pup had spots to enjoy being outside. Our dog figured out how to open the front door by pushing down on the door lever and he escaped. However a mailman and a neighbor grabbed him. So you will have good neighbors here. Parking in the evenings was a challenge as there are no assigned spots.That was the only downside for us.

Clean, comfortable, historic

Nick provided a clean, comfortable and modern interior. The beds were comfortable and the suitcases stored easily underneath. The a/c was wonderful. It was 95* outside.Our purpose in renting a house was for my elderly in-laws to stay with us and so that we didn't have to pay for 2 hotel rooms. The residence is historic. The rise and run of the stairs is not even and is offset. We had to be cautious on the stairs and they were absolutely unsafe for my in-laws. We had to send them to a hotel and pay those fees too. I felt that there should've been info in the listing regarding the condition of the stairs.The street is narrow and a dead end. Turning around with a big vehicle can be difficult.

George was an excellent host. His property was clean and well stocked. There were a lot of nice touches throughout the house that made our stay even more enjoyable. He was also very communicative prior to our stay and throughout. We would definitely consider staying here again.
