This place was beautiful, and the views were great. It was fun to grill poolside while overlooking the ocean. I would be a little hesitant to stay here with small children since the second bedroom/bathroom is not accessible from the main house. It would be a perfect spot for a family with older kids, two couples, or adults that want their own spaces.

AMAZING stay with great support

Stayed for a week and Jess (owner) helped us to find the place when we had trouble finding the house (our fault, not hard to find a it turns out), whenever we needed anything someone was by within 10 minutes, and the home was incredible. Clean, modern, AC kept it very cool despite the high 80s Fahrenheit outside, and TV was great for some movie nights. Loved the stay and the support from Canavida. Matched the images and the view was even better than pictured, easy to drive to the house as well. 10/10 Would absolutely go back.

Beautiful views in a cute clean casita

Overall we had a LOVELY stay at Canavida. The views were gorgeous, perfect for bird watchers and nature lovers. We saw so many birds, a coati, an ant eater, all from our balcony. It’s very private, you can see one neighbor and besides that it’s just ocean views and trees. The house is cute and clean; we were offered cleaning halfway through the stay which included new sheets and towels which was great. Any issues were quickly resolved over WhatsApp with the owners and they were happy to help:) A few notes, the placement of the house on the VRBO map is not very accurate, it’s quite a ways up a dirt road so 4x4 is a must, and if you’re wanting walkability this isn’t it. It’s advertised as a 2-3 minute walk to several restaurants and it’s more like a 15 minute drive. Which was fine for us as we did a lot of cooking but it is important to note. Kitchen is pretty well stocked for cooking with exception of measuring cups and measuring spoons. Also just beware as rainy season is starting that the deck tiles are super slippery when wet!!! Hot water is via propane tanks so if hot water isn’t working be sure to message staff and they will quickly replace is for you. We loved our stay and would happily come back in the future 3
