Golden, CO retreat at 9000 feet in the beautiful mountains. Close to fantastic hiking trails, CO skiing, fly fishing and small CO mountain towns. (Boulder, Golden, Nederland, Red Rocks, Rolesville, Estes Park, Rocky Mtn. Park ..). Basement studio walkout apartment with private parking & entrance, private fire pit patio, and hot tub. For the maximum mountain experience we recommend at least a stay of 2 nights. Boulder County Short Term Rental License, STR-22-0007. Certified wild fire mitigation by Wildfire Partners, a Boulder County independent organization.
The space
Beautiful private apartment with walkout access to patio, fire pit, parking and shared hot tub (no children under 12 in tub). Apartment is fully equipped with queen bed, HD DirecTV, full kitchen, dining area, bathroom with infinite hot water, and big couch in living room. Approximately 900 square feet of space.

Note: Kyla and John live upstairs in the main part of their beautiful log home and respect the privacy and quiet of their guests.

Guest access
Guests have private entrance to the apartment served by their private driveway and parking areas. For guests more than 5-6 days, we offer use of our washer and dryer.

We welcome our guests with a stocked kitchen of basics including a bottle of wine ( more than two nights), few beers and sodas, cheese and crackers, bagels and eggs, pasta, coffee, tea, s-mores, etc. so they can relax and not have to make an immediate trip to the grocery store.
