About this property
$4,500.00/Month - Nature Lovers Glass House with Unlimited Views!
Our glass home with unlimited mountain and sunset views is a paradise for nature lovers. It is on an acre of fruit trees and native habitat abundant with birds and wildlife! All rooms have cathedral ceilings and expansive windows - the living room has floor to ceiling windows on 3 walls. Even the master bath has mountain views from the shower.
Outdoor living areas are on all sides of the house, but the large deck off the living room will capture your heart as red tail hawks soar by at eye level. Enjoy the stars and frog song as well as the early morning birds from the private spa 3 steps outside the bedroom door. Walk the property to pick lemons, tangerines, oranges, avocados and other fruit in season. Enjoy your own flower arrangements from roses picked outside the master bedroom. In the lower orchard is a small artist studio occupied by another creative woman. The studio is completely invisible from the house.
Just a few minutes to downtown, and 10 minutes to the beach, you have complete privacy but easy access to other Santa Barbara amenities. Our hillside Mission Canyon home is just above the Mission, walking distance to the Botanic Gardens (it is not a 'formal' garden but one where you hike the numerous paths while enjoying the natural plants) and we are close to other hiking trails.
We are just 20 minutes to Lake Cachuma where you can enjoy boating, kayaking and fishing - and again more wildlife.
Our home is perfect for a couple getaway or an inspiring 'work' environment. Numerous books, paintings and musical compositions have been produced here!
