The photos accurately depict this property with its gorgeous views, fantastic hot tub, and lots of comfy deck furniture. Most importantly, the king bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept in, with sumptuous pillows and linens–and thick curtains in case you need to block out the light. (And, I spend lots of time and money traveling.) It won't lead to a backache guaranteed.The host was very responsive to help with finding things in the house, or with snafuus, like I had with the smoke detectors going off. But Tim was very quick to get back to me and eager to make it right. He had a handy man on the block that came right over.I highly recommend this place. There were 2 of us, which worked out well, with lots of space and quality throughout the property.

Tim and Rebecca have made this property their home for over 20 years. We enjoy traveling, now that we are both retired, but wish to share our house so that others may enjoy the beauty of the Santa Barbara area, as we have.

Why they chose this property

This is a very safe and quiet neighborhood on top of a ridge with no street lights. But you may hear an occasional coyote or two from time to time. The neighbors are friendly, too.

What makes this property unique

Magnificent views of the Coastal Mountain range which is included in the Los Padres National Forest. The house is self-contained with everything one would need for an extended stay. Easy access to hiking trails, walks, beaches, shopping, wine tasting and much more.
