2. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION. This property is very well-situated on three fronts: First, in 2 minutes, you can be on East Avenue, which is a straight shot directly to the main gate of the Racetrack. Second, you can walk to the heart of downtown in 6-8 minutes. Third, if you like to gaze at great old homes, we are a 2-minute walk to the historic mansions on North Broadway.
3. MODERN AMENITIES. Over the last two years, every fixture and appliance in this property, including the entire kitchen (more on that later) are new. This updating better ensures that our guests will enjoy all of the modern comforts during their stay.
4. OLD WORLD CHARM. The extensive renovation of the property is not at the cost of old world charm Saratoga is known for – you get both. Sit on the front porch situated in a neighborhood of 1850s residences (ours was built in 1853) and feel transported to a time gone by. The primary bedroom’s just-refinished hardwood floor bedroom is original. The front doorway and ornamental front porch have been restored to their original lustre. The formal furnishings and flooring in the home further reflect the history of the home.
5. GOURMET KITCHEN. The kitchen was completely renovated in 2022 with Rutt cabinetry and top-brand appliances (Wolf stove with double oven, Viking refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and warming drawer). The large island has seating for four. The kitchen is well-stocked with china, glassware, cooking utensils and spices for dining in.
6. A QUIET, BEAUTIFUL NEIGHBORHOOD. Unlike many other residences you might consider renting, my residence on Woodlawn Avenue is not a main thoroughfare. That's a big deal. The location of this property offers the best of both worlds: a 5 minute walk will put you right in the happenings on
Broadway (downtown), but when you want to wind down after a busy day, you can do that here. When you walk a few steps north on Woodlawn and over to Broadway, you will see some of the finest residences in Saratoga. I've added a few pictures as a sample.
