Enhanced Safety Features for Your Peace of Mind

For your security and peace of mind, this villa is equipped with cameras at the front and on both sides to monitor each entry point (note: there are no cameras at the back). Inside, the home includes hearing-impaired smoke detectors and a carbon monoxide alarm for added safety.

The doors leading to the pool have built-in alarms to prevent children from accidentally accessing the pool deck without an adult. These alarms can be easily disabled by pressing a button before exiting. Additionally, the pool area is secured with a safety fence for extra protection.

The house itself was very clean. The pool wasn’t very warm and the spa wasn’t hot and jets barely worked, they did seem clean. The pool area (decking) was filthy, green mold growth everywhere,the pool cage was very dirty with green mold growth along with the fencing. Stephen did come out a couple times the first few days in regards to pool and spa heat/jets but it never worked better. It was chilly our first week there so we didn’t spend a lot of time out by pool because it was to cold without the warmth of water. When I messaged him about issues of all the filth and mold he made me feel like I was making it up because we didn’t mention those concerns sooner but like I said we wasn’t out there much the first almost week. I can include messages between us if needed.

We’re sorry to hear that the pool and spa experience did not feel satisfactory during your stay. When concerns about the pool heat were first raised on December 29, 2 days post-arrival, we responded promptly and had our pool technician out multiple times to inspect the system. At each visit, the pool was holding at approximately 86 degrees and the spa reached its set temperature of 104 degrees, with no issues reported regarding the pump or jets at the time of inspection. Regarding the pool deck and enclosure, we appreciate you bringing that to our attention later in the stay. While those concerns were not reported until January 3, they were still taken seriously. Our intent was never to dismiss your experience, but rather to understand the full scope of the concerns so we could address them appropriately. The earlier these concerns are reported, the quicker we can respond and assist with a solution to make your stay more comfortable. We truly regret if our communication came across as anything other than respectful and attentive — that is never our goal. Guest comfort and experience are very important to us, and we value all feedback as it helps us continue to improve. Thank you again for staying with us and for sharing your perspective.
