Thank you, Linda, for your kind words—we’re glad our cottage provided a clean and comfortable spot for your visit. It was a pleasure hosting you, and we look forward to welcoming you back anytime.
My husband and I stayed here for a night while celebrating his birthday. Communication with the host was clear and fast. There were no access issues. Quiet, private, and clean! Perfect little getaway for just the 2 of us! Thank you!
My husband and I had a wonderful stay at this very quaint, cozy cottage! We stayed here for two nights while we were traveling back and forth from the Ohio Renaissance Festival, and we honestly wished we had booked an additional night just to be able to enjoy the cottage for an extra day! The cottage has been renovated very tastefully, and makes the most of the space since it has. The full bathroom was definately on the smaller side, but we made it work! The cottage had many amenities I was not expecting, including bottled water, laundry supplies with the washer and dryer, coffee filters AND coffee, and even some bathroom toiletries including q-tips, cotton balls and women's toiletries. Also some fresh eggs from the chickens in the back yard. It all definately made us feel at home and welcome during our stay. The cottage lives up to the description, and we were definately able to relax in peace in the quiet neighborhood. Check in/check out was a breeze, and all electronics/wifi worked perfectly during our stay. Also, that was THE MOST comfortable mattress I have ever slept on in a rental!!! We would definitely stay here again if we are ever in the area again!
If you're going to the Rose Center for a concert and need an overnight or weekend stay this is your place. The Rose is only 15 minutes away. It's an older small house that has been remodeled so you'll see older door frames but it gives the place the feel of an updated cottage. In no way shabby though. It was warm, clean and inviting. You feel like you're out in the country when you are just down a lane from the main highway. Only issue we had is that there is not much space between the bed and the walls. Between a bad back and knees we had shuffle sideways to get out of bed to the end of the bed. If you're more agile than we are it shouldn't be an issue. There were even USB plugs by both sides of the bed. Nice touch. Nice walk in shower. Lovely fluffy towels. There were lots of coffee options but I didn't find any tea bags. Troy was easy to get in contact with. Check out was easy enough. The only things you are asked to do is put dirty towels in front of the washer, run the dishwasher and take out the trash. Go to Georges for breakfast! Would recommend.
